Chapter 255: Wang Mi

Upon the Slaughter Empress leaving for Liminar, Commander Lin took charge and ordered all soldiers to gather at the border. Once everyone was assembled, he commanded them all to use their strongest attacks on the barrier. The concentrated firepower was aimed at a single point on the barrier, but at the moment of impact, a green barrier appeared, blocking the attacks. The barrier remained barely shaken, which came as no surprise to Commander Lin, as they had been attacking it for years, to no avail.

Commander Lin was not dissuaded by this outcome. He just ordered the soldiers to continue with their attacks until he returned.

He turned around and walked back into his tent.

"I am running out of time ." he spoke to no one in particular as he brought a small formation disc out of his storage ring.
