Kai Syaoran needed any advantage he could get against this beastess.

Kai Syaoran did the first thing one does in any war, cripple your opponent in any way you can. He did this by using his soul force to form a giant hairy hand with mighty claws above the village. He then brought this hand down on the town and crashed it like a bug.
