Chapter 100: Final Battle

Marine forces mobilized swiftly, with everyone, including the Fleet Admiral, converging on the location provided by CP0. It was a showcase of the Marines' formidable strength, deploying their best forces and even employing hundreds of PX-0 units. Failure to prevent Whitebeard's escape would be a humiliating blow to both the Marines and the World Government, so stopping and eliminating him was non-negotiable.

A group of Admirals raced to the designated location provided by CP0 and waited, unaware that their whereabouts had been compromised. Meanwhile, Morley continued to move underground, oblivious to the fact that he had been detected.

Upon reaching the beach, Morley waved his harpoon, creating a large hole in the ground for everyone to emerge from.

"We're finally out! Once we board the Moby Dick, we can get out of here," Luffy exclaimed, pumping his fist with joy. However, his excitement was met with silence. Confused, he looked at Marco and Ace, only to find them wearing serious expressions devoid of any joy.

"What's wrong?" Luffy asked, perplexed. Didn't they just escape? Why the somber mood?

"You idiot, look ahead!" Ace's frustration was evident as he resisted the urge to punch his brother. "Huh?" Luffy glanced up, and his shock was palpable.

There, before them, stood 'The Buddha' Fleet Admiral Sengoku, Marine Hero Monkey D. Garp, Admiral 'Akainu' Sakazuki, Admiral 'Kizaru' Borsalino, Admiral 'Aokiji' Kuzan, Vice Admirals Momousagi and Chaton, and many others—Marine's most formidable force, gathered ominously in front of them, their gaze fixed on Luffy and his companions.

"How... how is this possible?!" Luffy was utterly dumbfounded by the unexpected turn of events.

"But didn't they say they had escaped? Why are there so many Marines here the moment we show up?" Luffy questioned, his confusion palpable.

"I want to know too, what's going on?" Marco's gaze shifted to the Revolutionary Army nearby, his expression tinged with concern. He wasn't the only one suspicious; encountering such overwhelming opposition upon arrival naturally raised doubts about Monkey D. Dragon's allegiance.

Revolutionary Army Leader Monkey D. Dragon's face mirrored the shock and concern of those around him. He hadn't anticipated this turn of events. Emerging from hiding, he found himself facing the full might of the Marine forces—a situation that boded ill for their escape plans.

"Not only does Whitebeard not owe us any favors, but there's also potential hostility between us," Dragon realized grimly. "I made a mistake. I underestimated the risk of exposing Morley's ability," he admitted, acknowledging his overconfidence in their escape plan. He hadn't anticipated the World Government's determination to stop them.

"So, the escape plan failed?" Charlotte Katakuri observed with a cold tone.

"It seems we'll have to rely on ourselves. Our only way out is by defeating these Marine soldiers," Marco asserted, his voice serious. This wasn't the time to assign blame; they needed to focus on breaking through the encirclement of Marines.

"I never relied on them to begin with," Douglas Bullet added stoically, unmoved by the turn of events.

Dragon's expression twitched, unable to dispute the truth of their failure. The Revolutionary Army had misled them, and now they faced another battle.

"Whitebeard, you have nowhere to escape!" Fleet Admiral Sengoku declared, his expression grave. "This is where the full might of the Marines is gathered. Surrender now!"

With a swift motion of his hand, the Admirals around him spread out, closing in on Whitebeard in a coordinated arc.

But Whitebeard paid them no heed. Instead, he raised his Naginata, striking the ground with a resounding boom before letting out a hearty laugh. "Sengoku, my head's right here! Come and take it if you want!"

With those defiant words, the tension in the air reached its peak.

Majestic Conqueror's Haki surged, extending into the sky like a raging storm. Dark clouds overhead reacted, gathering and intertwining as purple lightning danced within them. The Admirals found themselves immobilized, as if a colossal weight pressed down upon them, making it difficult to breathe.

"What overwhelming Haki!" Vice Admiral Momousagi's expression shifted slightly. Even as a candidate for Admiral, she couldn't escape its influence.

"Even though we've gathered the strongest Marines, we can't afford to be careless. The other side is the strongest man in the world," Aokiji's voice turned serious. Having faced Whitebeard in battle before, he knew firsthand the extent of his strength.

"How long has it been since the Summit War? Just a few months! And yet, his growth is astonishing," Aokiji marveled silently.

"Doesn't this guy know when to give up?" Sengoku clenched his teeth, hoping to shake Whitebeard's confidence.

But Whitebeard remained unfazed, unleashing a tremendous wave of Conqueror's Haki, causing panic among the Admirals.

"When has Whitebeard ever been afraid? He's always been like this," Garp laughed heartily, his confidence unwavering.

"No matter what, Whitebeard must be taken down today!" Sengoku declared firmly, prompting the Admirals to move into action.

As the charging Admirals approached, Whitebeard's smile dimmed, his sharp gaze piercing through them. "Next, we'll face the full might of the Marines!" he proclaimed.

"Are you afraid, sons?!" Whitebeard's words hung in the air, met with a resounding roar of determination from his commanders and crew members.

"Oyaji, how could we be afraid?!" they shouted in unison. "We won't back down from any challenge as long as we stand alongside you!"

"Lead us into battle, Oyaji!" they pleaded, their voices echoing with conviction.

With a hearty laugh, Whitebeard turned towards the Marines, his Naginata pointed at them. "Then let it be known to the world that we will prevail against any opponent, for we are the Whitebeard Pirates!"

The commanders roared with anger, unleashing eruptions of Haki that crashed into the Marine Admirals, signaling the beginning of the final battle of this major event.
