Chapter 15: CH12: Makima's Deal
One day later, in a hospital room, the figure of a woman with reddish-pink hair stood in front of a hospital bed where a young muscular man with gray hair lay, one of his eyes covered by a bandage, while the other, which was red, was visible and stared at the woman inquisitively.
"What are you doing here, Makima?" said the gray-haired young man to the woman with reddish-pink hair who looked at him indifferently.
"I've come here to propose a deal," said the woman named Makima, her gaze shifting from indifferent to something curious and lustful.
"A deal?" said Tanaka with a curious look.
Honestly, receiving a deal from someone like Makima, who apparently had a way to bypass his "Eage," was rather unusual. Still, she couldn't even kill him because he was immortal, so there was nothing to fear.
Makima simply smiled mischievously, but her gaze reflected a lust that was unusual to see in a woman who didn't express her emotions outwardly.
Climbing onto his hospital bed while caressing his face, she simply smiled as if she had achieved something.
"Be mine, and you'll have whatever you desire. Work for me, be my personal pet," she whispered in his ear before caressing his lips while gently nibbling on his ear.
She had known since Tanaka fought against Kishibe and saw his head fly off or witnessed his wounds regenerate that he was impossible to deal with. "This bitch," Tanaka said while mentally smiling, maintaining his composure externally. "But unfortunately, I'll only play with her now. I'll use her lust to my advantage." "Hmm, I wonder why that woman took an interest in me," he said with a sarcastic voice and smile.
"Simple, I'm the strongest," he said with a smug grin from ear to ear as he answered his own question.
He got up and put on his casual clothes, loose black pants and no shirt or shirt.
Walking to the door and opening it, he felt the phone in the living room ringing repeatedly.
Grabbing the phone with a grin, he answered, "You're speaking to the sexiest man. Who is it?"
"I hope you haven't forgotten that we need to talk, brat," said an old and indifferent voice from behind the phone.
"How do you know I'm already fine?" Tanaka said, recognizing Kishibe's voice behind the phone.
"That doesn't matter. Come to the office right now, brat," Kishibe said with a bored and indifferent tone.
"Fine," Tanaka said with an indifferent and bored voice as he hung up and went to his room to change since he couldn't go anywhere with just his pants on.
Putting on a casual shirt, he considered himself ready for his "important" meeting with the old Kishibe.
In a cafe, two men sat drinking coffee casually.
"Do you know about Makima's new dog?" said the first man, reading a newspaper that obscured his face.
"The one they say is immortal and who defeated the strongest before Makima, that Kishibe guy or crazy dog, whatever they call him," said the second man, with boredom evident in his voice. He had short black hair and eyes as sharp as a sword. In general, if it weren't for his sharp gaze, he would be considered a normal man.
"They call him the Immortal Demon," said the other man as he sipped his coffee and crumpled his newspaper a bit.
The other man scoffed mockingly, "A normal name for a normal demon. Once I kill him and get the Chainsaw's heart, we'll see who's the best."
He said it with a relaxed but confident tone, as if he were going to win.
After several minutes, Tanaka arrived at the office with a smile, and all the hunters nodded respectfully while others bowed to him with respect as if he were Makima herself.
Smiling contently, he walked, heading to the Kishibe's office where he sensed the same Kishibe with his 'Eage.'
"What's up, old man?" Tanaka greeted casually as Kishibe looked at him with boredom and indifference.
"It's about Makima. There's something we need to talk about, and it's something you'll be interested in knowing," Kishibe said, staring at him with complete seriousness.
"It must be important if you're summoning me here, right?" Tanaka said, looking at Kishibe with his visible eye, who only regarded him with an inquisitive and serious gaze.
"Not here, we're going to another place," Kishibe said before turning and walking away from the location.
