Chapter 99: Eldritch, Finally whole

Orion's eyes widened in surprise as he felt the world around him warp and permeate into a field of endless gigantic eyes full of madness and power.

Surprisingly, as he saw this, he didn't feel affraid nor alienated, no, he felt at home.

His body slowly cracked and shattered as the power from those eyes seemed to be fusing with his very being and existence.

Suddenly, the process which had been peaceful and almost artistic, turned into a maddening sight.

The world returned to its previous form as Orion's body quite literally exploded into a fine mist just to immediately reform under the power of a thick green essence that had begun flooding his surroundings.

His bones, reformed, their resilience akin to cosmic steel refined for billions of cycles by dwarf gods.
