Chapter 67: Kill

"I forgot a lot of things."

"I forgot who I was. I forgot what my purpose was. I forgot my past. I forgot to keep walking. I forgot what it was all about." Calmly said Orion as dark robes draped over his body.

"Most importantly, I forgot about the world and its cruelty. I got too comfortable." He continued.

"Is that so? I w-"

"Have I allowed you to speak?" Asked Orion, his voice laced with a form of killing intent so pure, so violent and savage that Xie felt his soul shudder and his entire body freeze in terror.

Him, the incarnation of evil, the unholy child, the impure one, the heretic one…was afraid?

He couldn't believe it.

"I must thank you for reminding me."

Orion's pupils glowed with a faint pinkish hue as dream force gathered within his eyes and all of Xie's secrets were laid bare for him to see. Normally, he wouldn't have been able to do so but he seemed to have recently reached a state of enlightenment and broken through.
