Chapter 5: Chapter 5: Pokémon Rising Volt
Viridian Forest is a place not fully explored between Pewter and Viridian City. It is filled with all kinds of bug- and grass-type Pokémon from every region, but mainly holds Kanto and Johto Pokémon, which attract all types of trainers to explore it.
Because people think bug-type Pokémon are weak on their own, in Viridian there are different territories of bug- and grass-type Pokémon where, as a group, they are shown to be more dangerous. It is advised that trainers stay close to the outside of the forest so as not to disturb the Pokémon.
Troy is standing at the entrance of the forest. There are a few entrances to the forest that are safe, but Troy had gone off course into a non-safe zone of the forest. In the whole of Kanto, Viridian Forest is the best place to go for beginner trainers to catch and train Pokémon. But most trainers do not go deeper into the forest unless they have a death wish.
Weedle, come out," Troy called out from the poke ball.
Troy had gotten ready and said to Weedle, Weedle, we are going to go deep into the forest to find honey and to train you."
Troy and Weedle had started to walk into the forest and didn't have to look for long to find a Pokémon to battle where a caterpie could be seen minding its own business, looking at the stats of caterpie.

Caterpie tried to avoid it, but Weedle was too fast. It had suffered a lot of damage. Barley, still standing, looked like it didn't want to fight. Wanting to escape as a weak Pokémon, it knew I couldn't win.
Caterpie didn't fight and ran away.
Troy, not wanting the caterpillar to escape, told Weedle to use tackle to finish off the caterpillar. Looking at Weedle, his level had increased.
