The Cloaked Man's pupil widened completely, reflecting a sword pointed at it, glimmering with an amber aura, blazing in the hands of the young man whose words resonated inside the room:
"I choose Drishti herself."
Standing there, the sword, instead of moving any closer than a finger's distance, remained static. Yet, the aura seemed eager to devour both men instantly.
"What do you mean?" one of the men, with a narrowed gaze, inquired.
Due to their orders not to harm the young man in front of them, both men kept their calm even in the face of death, merely standing while a sword was this close to their eyes.
Observing both cloaked figures, the subtle movements of their bodies clearly demonstrated their lack of fear of death, which was expected from someone of their ranks. Ryuk slowly loosened his grip on his sword.

A4KL I saw a comment saying about Story is moving much slower now, Guys, I can't just make him wake from sleep and get selected as Flagbearer and send on adventure while changing POV between heroines who are not even here, My aim is to make u familiar with the structure of Ardoros, and create a vivid picture in your mind instead of just feeding information like Ardoros is big and all, it is very strong, Ryuk also super strong ~ All this chapter is to see Ryuk's mentality even infront of Odds, without showing him super Overpowered who kills everyone very easily and also not making him look too weak by compensating with his mind, I know many of u are stacking chaps thinking to read it later but hope for you to not drop the book after reaching this far, I want to develop Heroines character unlike childish stupid behaviour they showed, and in doing so, story will move accordingly, Thank You
