Chapter 14: Death, death for me.

"Now then… who to deal with first?" Arthur spoke, his gaze slowly moving down to the village head, who was already trembling under Arthur's feet.

The village square lay hushed, bathed in the golden hues of the setting sun, casting long shadows that seemed to stretch in fearful anticipation. The air was thick with tension, and all eyes were fixed on Arthur.

"Adults…" Arthur's fingers closed around the man's neck, his grip unyielding, and the villagers watched in silent dread. "Even in my former world, I couldn't stand you people… selfish, wicked, and completely ignorant…" His voice carried a raw edge of contempt, painting the scene with disdain. "A truly disgusting sight."

As Arthur slowly raised the man by his neck, the man's legs dangled helplessly in the air. His face turned a desperate shade of crimson, choked cries trapped in his throat, forming a pitiful counterpoint to the gathering darkness.

"But things have changed… I am in my own world, everything is mine and mine alone… adults…like yourself are not welcomed…" A small, sinister grin crept across Arthur's face, casting eerie shadows on his features. "And he flies… to the heavens".

With a sudden, brutal motion, Arthur's hand tightened its grip, and the atmosphere grew electric with dread.

Squash!!!

In an instant, the world seemed to shudder as Arthur's fist obliterated the back of the man's head. Blood erupted in a gruesome spray, drenching Arthur's face in a macabre mask.

Blood slowly consumed the ground, soaking his feet as he stood there, an unsettling smile etched across his gore-smeared visage. He raised a crimson-stained hand to his cheek, smearing the life essence like war paint.

"Splendid… truly amazing~," he sang, his voice tinged with an unhinged delight that sent chills through the onlooking villagers.

The whole place fell into an eerie silence, but the palpable fear etched onto their faces spoke volumes. It was a creeping realization that settled in their minds, an understanding that there was no escape from Arthur's malevolence.

They watched, frozen, as Arthur relished in the twisted sensation of being drenched in blood. His twisted delight hung in the air, suffocating them with a grim aura.

But then, as he turned his gaze towards one of them and took a single step, their primal instincts surged forth.

"Ahhhhhh!!!"

A collective, harrowing scream erupted from the villagers, breaking the stillness. Panic gripped them, and they scattered like leaves in a storm, each one fleeing down different paths, desperately seeking refuge from the terror that Arthur had become.

Watching them scatter, Arthur's sigh held a tinge of exasperation. "You don't plan to make it easy for me… expected as much…" His voice dripped with cruel determination. "That's still not going to stop me from killing every last one of you!" He bellowed, his declaration echoing like a dire omen.

With a deafening boom, he appeared in front of two villagers who had desperately tried to seek refuge within the forest.

His speed was monstrous, leaving them no chance to escape. In an instant, he seized their heads in his monstrous grip, and their screams filled the air, a chilling symphony of terror.

Despite their frantic struggles, their efforts were futile. With a sinister grin, he slammed their heads together with brutal force.

The impact shattered their skulls, sending a gruesome spray of blood and gore in all directions. Their lifeless bodies crumpled to the ground, their screams silenced forever.

With ruthless efficiency, Arthur turned his attention to the next victim. He shoved his hand into the person's chest, ripping out their heart with a grotesque display of power.

The heart quivered in his hand for a fleeting moment before he mercilessly crushed it, crimson fluids splattering onto the ground.

A chilling spectacle, his grin remained etched on his face as he surveyed the villagers fleeing towards the bridge that led out of the village. Their terror-fueled escape was short-lived.

With an eerie transformation, Arthur's eyes suddenly blazed with malevolent red light. Beams of crimson energy shot forth from his eyes, targeting every villager in that direction.

In an instant, their panicked flight was turned into a gruesome tableau as they disintegrated, leaving not a single soul alive to escape his wrath.

Amid his maniacal laughter, Arthur continued his relentless onslaught, his crimson beams of death sparing no one in their path. He reveled in the nightmare he had unleashed upon the village, every moment of terror a twisted delight to him.

Time seemed to stretch as the massacre continued, mercilessly claiming every villager in its wake. Men, women, no one found refuge from Arthur's unrelenting fury. It was a symphony of horror, a merciless crescendo.

Then, as abruptly as it had begun, the silence descended. The once-bustling village lay in a gruesome hush, every cry for help silenced, every soul extinguished.

Lifeless bodies sprawled across the ground, their final moments marked by the chilling stillness that now enveloped the village.

Arthur stood amid the grim aftermath, his outstretched arms seemingly beseeching the heavens.

His laughter, tinged with madness, reverberated through the desolation. "Is this it?! Is this what you wanted, Erina?! Answer me?!!!" His voice cracked with desperation, lost in the eerie silence of the decimated village.

Meanwhile, Isla and her sisters watched in stunned disbelief. Their eyes, wide with shock, were unable to hide the blankness that had taken hold of them.

Arthur, a stranger, had single-handedly obliterated an entire village, extinguishing every life as though it were mere kindling. The sheer brutality of it all clawed at their hearts, and a growing fear began to gnaw at them.

Arthur, wearied by the relentless slaughter, gradually turned his attention to the trembling girls. His steps were deliberate, each one a slow, calculated advance, and their hearts raced with dread.

As he lowered himself in front of them, Arthur's gaze bore into their eyes. His voice was calm, almost soothing, as he spoke, "You don't have to be afraid, I don't just meaninglessly toss my belongings like trash…."

Mona, her eyes widened in shock, found her voice. "You murdered them…" Her words trembled with disbelief. "You murdered every last one of them… despite how they begged you to stop… you still killed them." The horror in her voice was palpable, a stark reminder of the gruesome reality they had just witnessed.
