Chapter 9: EUHA; The three Elite warriors

In the heart of Monstat, the land sprawled with numerous villages, ranging from the sprawling expanse of Eldoria to the tiniest hamlets that dotted the landscape.

Each of these settlements adhered to a singular code of conduct, and while some sought mutual support from neighboring villages for sustenance, others were resolute in their pursuit of self-sufficiency.

Nestled gracefully amidst this diverse tapestry, Euha held its place as a village that rivaled even the grandeur of Eldoria. Its reputation was intricately woven with the bounty of its water reserves, a precious gift bestowed by its proximity to the meandering river of Monstat.

Over time, Euha had laid a resolute claim to the life-giving waters, a proclamation solidified not merely through words but by the sweat and toil of generations.

A tumultuous dance of battles and adversities unfurled, as neighboring villages dared to challenge the dominion of Euha over the coveted territory.

Yet, in the face of relentless opposition, none had managed to dent the ironclad resolve of Euha. The village's invincibility was epitomized by the presence of three unparalleled warriors who stood as the bulwark against all odds - the famed Elite trio: Raiden, Isla, and Mona.

Amidst the clash of ambitions and the cascade of trials, these three figures remained unwavering pillars of strength, their skills and tenacity transcending mere mortal limits.

…..

Stepping out from the confines of her tent, Isla was met with a warm embrace from the sun, its golden rays caressing her as if in recognition of her status.

Her rosy-pink tresses cascaded like a waterfall down her back, a vibrant testament to her individuality, while her attire exuded an understated elegance that harmonized seamlessly with her reputation as the epitome of strength within Monstat.

Adorned in a delicate kimono, the fabric swayed gently as it kissed her upper thighs, the ensemble was further accentuated by a pair of pristine white stockings, An intricate necklace graced her neck.

As she emerged into the light, Isla's voice cut through the morning air. "I can't believe I overslept today." Her words danced like musical notes.

Her gaze, sharp as an eagle's, instantly honed in on the grand spectacle that lay ahead, her steps carrying a blend of purpose and curiosity.

Before her, a sprawling assembly unfolded, its magnitue huge as people began to join one after the other. Isla's presence, though unnoticed yet, was destined to weave seamlessly into the fabric of the gathering.

"Uhn?... What's happening over there?" she muttered to herself, curiosity tugging at her as she slowly maneuvered through the bustling crowd.

Upon reaching the scene, she deftly navigated her way through the crowd, offering polite apologies and "excuse me"s as she squeezed her way through the tight space.

Finally breaking free from the crowd's clutches, she was met with a sight that sent a jolt of surprise through her.

Her sisters, Raiden, a demi-human with piercing black eyes and hair, Mona, an elf with cascading blonde hair, stood resolute, forming a protective barrier in front of an unexpected adversary who had seemingly materialized out of thin air.

Spawned directly before the intruder were the lifeless bodies of two guards, their lives extinguished after the strangers' abrupt and lethal entrance into the village.

Dressed in sleek black body suits that clung to their forms, and with featureless masks concealing their identities, the intruders found themselves encircled by a contingent of vigilant guards.

"Explain yourself right now, or I swear I'm going to kill you!" Raiden's voice reverberated through the tense air, her clenched fist emitting an ominous glow while her expression contorted with righteous fury.

"State your purpose... Why have you ventured into our village and callously taken the lives of two of our kin?" Mona's voice remained steady, a determined effort to maintain her poise evident even as a roiling mixture of emotions danced in her eyes.

Concealed within the confines of the body suit was Arthur, his deliberate intention to obscure his identity firmly in place. His strategy was simple yet resolute - he would persistently shield his true self until the day arrived when he could ascend to the position of village chief.

"I presume you two hold the esteemed titles of Elite Warriors within this village, am I correct?" Arthur inquired, his gaze swiftly shifting to Isla, who had also joined the discourse. Her widened eyes bore witness to the lifeless forms on the ground.

"How is that even relevant to our question?!" Raiden's voice erupted with a fiery intensity, her anger palpable as she sought clarity amidst the escalating tension.

"I understand that you've asserted control over the water source designated for Monstat's residents," Arthur's words flowed forth in an even, measured tone, his demeanor unwavering. "My intent is straightforward - to initiate a negotiation, and if necessary, engage in combat, although I won't personally recommend this since…".

"Water source? What in the..." Mona's voice trailed off, her puzzlement evident. Before she could complete her thought, Raiden's voice rang out.

"So, you've come looking for a brawl, is that it? Should've led with that from the beginning!" Raiden's words were accompanied by her explosive action as she hurtled forward at breakneck speed, her powerful charge causing the very ground beneath her to crumble from the forceful sonic boom she created.

In a swift and unexpected turn of events, as Raiden closed in, poised to deliver a devastating blow, Arthur's response was equally quick.

He intercepted her impending strike, capturing her punch effortlessly in mid-air. The sheer force of their collision caused the ground to shudder and collapse beneath their feet, creating an impromptu crater.

Raiden's eyes stretched wide in astonishment, a mirror to the astonishment etched across the faces of all who bore witness.

"Where are your manners? I wasn't done talking." Arthur's voice resonated calmly, his actions punctuating his words.

With a controlled motion, he administered a brisk slap while still suspended in mid-air, sending Raiden hurtling backward until she reunited with her sister, her body crashing heavily beside Mona and Isla.
