"It's getting late." He lifted her from the bed and brought her to the nearby dining table. "Finish your meal and then sleep, okay?" He looked at her, her face drowsy with sleep, and raised his hand to pinch her chin examining her complexion, "How long has it been since you slept well? Why are you so tired?"

Norris's voice was low, "I've been having some insomnia lately."

He raised an eyebrow and glanced at her, "So, I am your sleeping pill?"

Norris didn't speak.
