Trenton Smith looked at her in silence, followed by a heinous laughter from Rufus Swallow from behind. His brows furrowed, and his eyes darkening with an unknown depth, he reached out and closed the door.

Norris Moore glanced at Trenton. He was still just as handsome and perfect as ever, save for a small bloodstain on his white shirt, probably from the tussle with Rufus. And yet, somehow...

Right now, he looked like a changed man.

He seemed rather dangerous.

Norris took a step back, feeling an unexplainable fear of him at that moment. If that deranged man could be beaten up so mercilessly by Trenton, what would happen if she disobeyed him? Needless to say, couldn't stand a chance against him.

"I... I need to take a shower."

She smiled at him, stepping backwards until she reached the bathroom door, seeing no response from Trenton, she hurriedly opened the door and ran inside.
