As soon as they arrived, Avery knew that, today was Jason 30th birthday party. her dad asked her to hold the gift box fearing that her daughter would make the whole family situation worse, he said"if you made the situation worse,I will send you back to your grandmother".

She knew this was a threat, she didn't need to think, how bad her grandmother was. The original Avery was afraid of her grandmother, otherwise she won't have gone to Jason birthday party.

She tried to look panicked" I understand, Dad"

However, unlike the thunderstorms at that time, it was a scene of large society. Various luxury cars was parked outside the door and the garden was beautiful decorated.

She didn't have any love relationship but had a crush on the boy nextdoor. Avery wanted to study hard, and bring her parents from poverty. She was a step away from achieving her goal. Avery has seen such luxury scene only on TV. Most of people at the party was business men and they were talking to each other. She wore a blue dress and stood at the corner. She was clever and quiet, so she felt out of place.

It was eight o'clock in the evening and everyone was waiting for Jason Black. They heard that, Jason and a group of rich families were on their way. she thought, this man like excitement. she looked at the gift box in her hand, it seems very important.

Her dad sad, it will make Jason accept.
