Chapter 189: The Journey Into Enemy Camp

The Beta pounded the earth with hooves. Long before dawn's first light touched the mountain peaks, she'd spurred her mount into a relentless gallop. Oyuna spared only adequate time for her horse to rest, for her mission was urgent: reach the Lycan Alpha's camp, secure a peaceful agreement in some form, and return to New Moon, all within a single, sun-drenched day.

Every second was valuable. Her people's well-being hinged on her ability to forge a peace accord with the Silver Moon clan.

Though she was nervous, the Beta tried to calm her chaotic thoughts by utilizing the time during the ride to rehearse different scenarios in her head. 

What would she say if Alpha Taiga expressed intentions to attack them? 

What would she say if they were unable to reach a peaceful resolution?

What would she say if surrendering was the only option available?

It was imperative that she knew what to do under each of these circumstances. Too much was at stake!
