"Perhaps you think it's laughable for me to follow you like this, trying to convince you to help me. But, in my opinion, even if it's overreaching, I have to do it. There are always people in life that you want to protect at all costs."

Chester Yale was that person for her.

Even if she couldn't help him, she wanted to try her best.
