Walking outside, Chloe Collins started rummaging through the shoe cabinet.

Alexander Foster saw the men's slippers on the first layer, which looked like they had been worn many times.

The gleam in his eyes dimmed a bit.

In a short while, Chloe took out a pair of unworn new shoes and handed them to him.

"Here."

Alex took them.

"I'm going to sleep now," Chloe said.

"Mm."

After Chloe returned to her room, Alexander was still standing beside the shoe cabinet.

In a short while, he bent down to move the conspicuous pair of men's slippers to the bottom of the cabinet, and put his own leather shoes on top, side by side with Chloe's shoes.

That looked much more pleasing to the eye.

Two days later in the morning, the Winter Camp closing ceremony ended.

Inside the hotel, all the staff were dining in Buffet Dining Hall 1.

Chloe and Wanda Wesley picked their dishes and took a seat.

Everywhere they passed, they attracted quite a few glances.
