Layla Lowell took a moment to catch her breath, before saying, "Once my injuries heal, I'll report to your lab. However, the Lowells must reclaim everything as soon as possible. I'm worried that those bastards might secretly transfer the Lowells' assets."

Heijii commented, "Rest assured. Ever since you signed the contract, our boss ordered us to start working on this issue. You just focus on recovery and don't worry about a thing."

Layla hadn't expected things to move this fast and was momentarily surprised.

After a pause, she said, "Thank you, guys."

Heijii went still, seemingly unaccustomed to this sort of thanks.

He laughed a couple times, "Never expected a girl like you to say thank you."

Layla shot him a glace, "Just being polite."

Then her gaze shifted back to Chloe Collins, "Where did you move the lab stuff to?"

"A safe place," Chloe didn't elaborate.
