When Hector received a call from Morris Jackson in the conference room, he was a bit surprised. Upon learning that Morris wanted to see Cynthia Taylor, he immediately agreed: "Alright, I got it. I'll do it right away."

After hanging up the phone, Hector stood up and left the conference room.

He knew that Cynthia was just outside the conference room, so he didn't bother calling her, but simply went out to find her.

Upon seeing Cynthia lost in thought at her work desk, he walked over and waved his hand in front of her face: "What are you thinking about?"

Cynthia snapped back to reality and stood up: "Cousin."

Hector made a beckoning gesture: "Come with me."

"Oh, okay."

Cynthia didn't know what the matter was, but she followed Hector out from behind the work desk. When they arrived at the office door, her heart suddenly lurched, and she quickly stepped forward to grab Hector's sleeve and asked, "Cousin, what's going on?"
