A mysterious atmosphere enveloped the room as Artel began an incantation. After making sure that Malfoy and others are fast asleep. He achieved it by using the Bewitched Sleep spell.

In an instant, the room was filled with a melodious chime, signaling the success of Artel's summoning.

As Artel envisioned mastering advanced transfiguration, the prospect of rivaling Grindelwald's skill level loomed. With the power of Vilya, he could seamlessly adopt the personas of Gandalf or Saruman, independent of complex concoctions.
Feeling the potency of the Air Ring, Artel gracefully withdrew it into the confines of the system space, contemplating the exciting possibilities that lay ahead. Artel knew better than to flaunt it openly.
"Summon the Lord of the Ring creatures," Artel commanded with a spark of excitement.

Seizing an opportunity, Artel infiltrated Gryffindor's bedroom, making off with the Weasley Twins' Marauder's Map. The ensuing commotion from the twins didn't raise alarms, as the map's nature discouraged public exposure.

On a weekend, armed with The Ring of Power and The Ring of Air, Artel ventured to Hogsmeade with senior wizards.
After scouting Honeydukes Candy Store and the Shrieking Shack, he retraced his steps to Hogwarts through the passage under the Whomping Willow.
With Christmas approaching, Artel made plans. Although he could apparate with Vilya, Hogwarts' magical prohibition thwarted direct passage. However, Hogsmeade remained accessible, allowing Artel to Apparate there and then infiltrate Hogwarts through the hidden passage.

December 19th arrived, and Artel prepared for his Christmas excursion. Hogwarts' Christmas holiday spanned from December 20th to January 5th, with a grand Christmas dinner in the evening. Artel and Hermione had chosen to go home, but they promised to visit each other during the holidays.

Artel felt a discrepancy in his memory—Ron used to stay with Harry during Christmas, sharing the joy of opening presents, including the iconic invisibility cloak. Now, for some unknown reason, Ron was heading home.
Disinterested in the details, Artel brushed it off. The approaching Christmas festivities painted Hogwarts in a vibrant atmosphere. Classes were suspended, and everyone, guided by the dean and professors, adorned Hogwarts Castle with Christmas costumes. The air buzzed with anticipation as Christmas trees and gift boxes found their designated places, enveloping the castle in the joyous spirit of the season.
