Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Date cut short
Aj had gotten the details and had been hoarded off to go shopping with anita and dd. After shopping for hours, Anita and Dd finally agreed on a gown they said perfectly fit for Aj's first date.
Jordy had listened to his friends and had gotten to the restaurant 15 minutes to the agreed time
He stood up when he saw a waitress leading her in and his jaw dropped and his eyes widened when he saw the beauty that was following the waitress she wore a sky blue, off-shoulder, knee-length gown, a diamond necklace with matching earrings and bracelets and silver heels. She wore no makeup but Jordy didn't care because to him, her natural beauty could supercede and model and any princess in any fairytale.
Jordy was so lost in admiring this beauty that he didn't even notice when the waitress came and left. Aj didn't notice his reaction as she was shocked as to how handsome he was in his black turtle neck underneath navy blue suit. He also wore a silver chain and sleek black brogues.
They both didn't realise they had been staring at each other until a waitress drew their attention back to reality and when Aj realized that she had been gaping at him openly, she blushed.
Being the gentleman that he was, he dragged her chair out for her and went back to his seat after she was seated. Seeing that the dance would have to wait he decided to ask instead.
'Uhm I already ordered i hope you don't mind' Jordy asked and after she shook her head he continued
'So in the mean time, how about you tell me about yourself' Jordy suggested
'What about myself?' Aj asked tilting her head at him a little bit
'Uhh are you the only child? I've been wondering about that for a while.' Jordy said
'Do you think I'm an only child?' Aj asked
'Well, in all honesty, yes. I mean I've seen all your friends' siblings but I don't think I've seen your siblings. So I guess I just became curious' Jordy said
'Well no I'm not the only child. I have two elder brothers and a little cousin who stays with us most of the time' Aj said
'Wow' Jordy gasped. Just as they were still talking, a waitress arrived with the food
Jordy noticed how Aj had just been looking at the food for a while and decided to inquire
'Do you not like it?' Jordy asked
'No it's not that. I just don't like this' Aj said picking up a pea on her fork. She then went ahead and separated the pea from the rest of the food
'Oh. Now that you mentioned, what are you allergic to' Jordy asked
'Uhm basically, I'm allergic to nuts, butter and cheese. Well there's one more thing but I can't remember it's name' Aj said
'What do you mean by basically' Jordy asked
'I mean there are other things that sometimes when I take it, I get sick. For example peas, pizza, pie, burger, and so on' Aj said
'Oh' Jordy said. By now they had both eaten a large amount of their food when someone cleared his throat and they both turned towards his direction
After seeing he had gotten their attention he continued, 'y..' but stopped halfway after receiving a glare from Aj
'Aj, your father sent me to bring you home immediately' the man said
'Dad said so? Why?' Aj asked confused
'He said to tell you that it's concerning the woman you are curious about' the man replied politely
'Now?' Aj asked. She didn't want to cut short her date because she didn't know if it would happen again
'Yes Aj, now' the man said making Aj sigh before looking back at Jordy
'I'm so sorry for this to end now but I have to return home. My dad is expecting me' Aj said and Jordy who had been listening to their conversation had already concluded that the man was a messenger from her dad
He was sad that their dinner was going to be cut short but he knew there was nothing he could do about it
'It's alright. I understand' he said and with that Aj stood up and left with the man
They got to a building and used the elevator to go up to the rooftop to where a helipad was situated. Then she climbed in to the helicopter and away they went.
