Invasion - Repelled

[ ~ Chapter • Start ~ ]

Three weeks have passed, and outside the castle of Olga Discordia, Jonathan was walking around what had been left of the small town that was formerly occupied by Dark Elves, now occupied by Demons, expressing his dissatisfaction at them.

"It's the first time I've been outside your castle, and now we have company?" He asked, as he stared at the Demons that were approaching them.

They were a few groups consisting of three minotaurs, 8 orcs, 20 goblins and 5 gargoyles.

And they looked enraged as they glared at the two of them.

"Blame me and my waning powers, but now.... They need to be disciplined." Olga replied, narrowing her eyes as she grasped her staff tightly.

Jonathan, the moment he noticed several goblins, became enraged. Obviously because he just really hated them to the point of actually slaughtering goblins made by the Invaders at his past life.

"And goblins need to be extinct..." Jonathan suddenly muttered, clapping his hands before a hard-light rapier made out of Psychic Energy manifested before him.

"Why?" Olga asked rather curiously, "Is it because you have a hatred against them?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Jonathan shot back coldly, watching as the demons began to surround them.

One of the demons, steaming in rage, pointed at Olga and Jonathan.

"Dark Queen! We are now free from your grasp, so we will take revenge against you and your kind first!" A minotaur roared out, before snarkily grinning at the two. "Everyone! You know what to do!"

Various roars, cackling, and other cheers resounded through the Demons, and immediately after growing silent, they charged towards the two, thinking they were being intimidated.

However their faces were indifferent.

Olga raised her staff, sending pulses of mana to it before slamming it down to the ground. A light rumble appeared in the ground, before tens of earthen spike erected from the ground, impaling the demons through their heads.

The luckier ones only had their limbs impaled, rendering them unable to move forwards.

And the luckiest minotaur had his horns broken off, but his body was still riddled with wounds. Aside from that, he earned a light concussion from falling back to the ground.

Even so, it proved ineffective to the gargoyles flying on the air while they narrowly avoided the spikes to go past the slower ground troops.

Yet, it was suddenly shot down by a few arrows.

Looking at where it was, even briefly, they were the other Demons living inside the Castle, aiming their bows at the hostile ones.

"Protect boss man and boss lady!" An Orc yelled out, pointing at the Demons that were approaching from the distance.

"Aye!!"

Jonathan and Olga glanced at the distance to find different more demons approaching their location with the intent to invade.

The two of them smiled, just before Jonathan swung his blade to decapitate or cut the bodies of the mindless goblins in half with an incredibly wide arc of sharpened Psychic Energy.

Noticing the minotaur who gained a concussion, he immediately leaped towards him and slammed the minotaur's head to the ground with his boot.

He crouched down so that he could grab the Demon's head with a hand covered in Psychic Energy.

"People call this brainwashing because it's used mostly on girls, but to these traitors? It's indoctrination!" Jonathan spoke, as he began to use the technique he used to change the minds of the Demons in the Castle.

Seeing this, Olga became a little more interested about his abilities, even though it was growing the more they were together.

After that, they turned to the other invading Demons that had gained immense confidence that their quantities would eventually overrun the forces of Olga.

But....

Their only problem was that the Demons inside Olga's Castle were heavily trained and educated, alongside those who have been "indoctrinated" to serve Olga and Jonathan.

Their quantities will grow along with their quality, and later on they will become much more formidable than those Demons in the Lands of Darkness.

So Jonathan, who carefully walked towards the invading Demons, glanced at Olga, who nodded at him.

His Psychic Energy was recovering quickly, but that doesn't mean he'd go around and randomly fight wildly. After all, he's more of a tactician in direct combat, while he would use his skills in espionage to quickly gain the advantage no matter how strong the enemy is.

The Demons in their castle began to exit it, two by two, having received the message by their allies they were all prepared to fight for their lives.

"I wonder, what will you do next after this?" Olga asked with the usual curiosity, and Jonathan, having thought of what he should do later, smirked.

"Leave this place and migrate to the north where a new settlement will be built. The lands there are near the sea, and it'the vegetation is enough." He replied, before he pointed at their enemies. "Anyway, begin attacking them right away! Leave only fifty alive, with the exception of the goblins!"

While the battle seemed very long indeed, it only lasted for 15 minutes. The defending group's skill was completely different to the invading group.

Following orders diligently, the Imps and the Orcs that were loyal to the both of them took away the remaining 50 Demons to the prison, where they will be judged by Jonathan, with the supervision of Olga.

As the surroundings began to mellow down, Jonathan insisted on walking around the settlement outside Olga's Castle the moment he dispersed the blade of energy and absorbed it back to his body.

They searched for any living beings, only for Jonathan to be more and more disgusted with each second passing.

Dark Elves' corpses were inside several homes, and most of them were female, that were.... fucked to death.

"Is this a normal occurrence, Olga?" Jonathan asked, and Olga grew silent, and that silence proved rather frustrating to him. "So indoctrinating those Demons really were the best choice, despite it being quite consuming to my energy."

Believing there might still be Dark Elves that are alive, maybe even barely, Jonathan did not give up.

Despite the smell of blood, and semen, and even urine, he wasn't even giving up. It was until he found out that all corpses he found really were of dead people.

'Dark Fantasy worlds like this, even coming from the Japanese, are really horrible.' He concluded, just before entering a house where he heard the clapping of flesh.

Inside it, there were a few goblins being committed to their session of well, you know it, to a Dark Elven girl who might still be around his age.

Without hesitation, rather in an impulsive manner, he crushed the minds of the Goblins, stopping the forced intercourse immediately as their bodies just fell down motionless.

The corpses of the goblins were then pulled out, before being tossed away roughly to the wall.

Jonathan checked the pulse of the girl, just to find any source of life in her, and the moment he found it, he gained a light smile.

"Right... next is the cleaning process, before recovering the girl. Olga, may I?"

"I'll assist you." Olga replied, nodding her head before beginning to cast her spells needed.

The process was not that long, though it actually resulted in Jonathan having to remove 5 years of memories to the girl, making her think more like a grown up child the moment she wakes up.

At least he's done his job.

A few hours later, the Demons who were captured awoke in their jail cells, knowing where they exactly are.

The stronger ones could've just broken out of the cells, but for some reason the bars and the walls became far, far stronger than they were supposed to be.

"No! This not possible!" An ugly troll yelled out, slamming his fists towards the bars of their cell.

Yet, a baton hit the troll's hand, making the demon recoil his hand back in pain.

"Silence, convict! Lord Jonathan and Lady Olga are approaching your location for your indoctrination! Stay put, or we will use force against you!" The Orc that hit him with a baton, who's dressed in a strange clothing that might have been for humans, yelled out.

It continued for a long while, with a few prison guard Orcs silencing more of the monsters until both Dark Elves had arrived.

Jonathan looked pretty disappointed at the Demons, due to knowing the fact from Olga that they're practically have no common sense and he knew what he should do right now.

Olga, having the knowledge of many different forbidden spells, had the interest of learning Jonathan's spell with the intent of expanding her arsenal, even if it's little.

Upon finding out that it was just an ordinary brainwashing spell, she felt pretty disappointed, too.

And, five by five, they were indoctrinated after each day, before being sent to do labor on the north. The new settlement on the north would take two months to be rebuilt, so there should be something Jonathan should do now.

So he was in front of Olga, standing tall with his group of Orcs kneeling towards Olga.

"I'd like to make a request, Queen Olga."

The Dark Elf Queen, lightly smiling at him, replied "Go on." As she leaned forward to listen to his request.

"It is to invade a human town on the west, my Imp Scouts have found out that a Dark Elf has been sold there to be used as a toy for someone named John Mandeville." Was his request, and Olga, thinking about it, has acknowledged the request.

"You may go there, but be careful, the humans outnumber you."

They were already prepared to invade a human settlement, and what's better than to pillage and completely destroy it?

Because, sometimes Quality can exceed Quantity and Jonathan knew what he should do.
