Chapter 59: Haunted traitor

Hank ran towards my body as I floated above it. Before confronting the guard who had shot me, he lifted me up.

She was significant. Who instructed you to fire? While the guard was looking at him, Hank demanded

The guard attempted to justify his actions by claiming that "no one but he attacked your mate."

"Unless I told you to shoot, don't!" As he glared at me, Hank yelled. "Phone the witch," As Eric teleported in, he laid my lifeless corpse on the bed.

You really think I'll be able to save her? Hank nodded as Eric demanded.

"We had a plan, and her death during the party wasn't it. Now heal her!" Order from Hank Eric's magic suddenly appeared, but this time it wasn't light; it was dark, even darker than before.
