I crossed my arms in front of Daniel as I waited for his response.

"Well?" He stared at me as I demanded.

Daniel finally said, "I slept with his mate," after a little pause.

"Why in the hell would you do that?" I screamed, still furious at having been drawn into this.

"Because I don't care whether or not I live. I messed us up, and I didn't know I was in love with you, Sarah, okay??"My lips fell open in shock as Daniel roared. He just declared his love for me. I exhaled and tightened my nasal bridge.

"Daniel I snarled at him with a glare that said, "I don't even know how to respond to this news." Just as I was moving on with Eric, you stepped up and declared your love for me. At this point, I'm not sure if I really want to be with you.

"Sarah I apologise for not realising I loved you earlier. Daniel said, "Tap into the link and see for yourself," which made me shake my head.
