"That's just a strategic retreat to divert the attention of the pirates and gain support." Wapol also wants to object and told some lies to see if the other party believed it.

The poison ensured Wapol's compliance, turning him into Reiju's slave. Disobedience would bring discomfort, pain, and possibly death. He was rendered powerless to resist.
"So, you've decided to help me?" Wapol inquired, having witnessed the combat effectiveness of these soldiers and recognizing their potential to help him reclaim his kingdom.
"Anyway, let's go and assess the situation first," Reiju suggested, gazing down at the distant island. Though it was Nami's turn in the spotlight, Reiju seemed intent on taking action.
"You can't expect the highest level of rewards. It would be nice to have a little subsistence allowance," Reiju remarked, turning around and heading back to her room.
Wapol smiled arrogantly, unaware of the intricate plans and motives set in motion by the Vinsmoke family.
"Drum Kingdom, your king has returned," he declared, laughing with his hands on his hips. Though it was just a false name, the unexpected cooperation had come to fruition.
"Speaking of which, what's her name? I forgot to ask."
The Vinsmoke family was renowned, but Wapol remained unimpressed. Meanwhile, on the island, Evan had found a doctor.
[An old woman who lived to be more than one hundred and forty years old.]
[The only doctor on Drum Island, with exceptional medical skills.]

"No matter what the price is, as long as it's for Nami, I don't care," Evan asserted, following hastily.
"Just put it there; I'll take care of it," Kureha instructed, picking up a bottle and taking a hearty drink.
Can drinking alcohol cure diseases? Evan found it somewhat odd, but he trusted Kureha's expertise, so he left the room without saying anything.
As he exited, Kureha grinned.
"Little girl, don't pretend to be asleep; you've already woken up, right?"
Kureha teased, looking at Nami with a playful face.
"Your illness is not serious; maybe he will be late, and you will heal yourself."
"Facing your boyfriend, why are you blushing so much?" Kureha continued drinking, observing Nami's reaction.
Nami straightened her back, her face becoming even rosier.
