A small drip of saliva fell from the union of two lips like a drop of water. The drop was transparent and, it was the first thing that Stuart focused on before his eyes expanded to take in the full picture of what he was looking at. Henric sat on his bed, his back slightly lowered as if he was about to lay down but something was stopping him. A female hand held his shoulder with a firm grip that prevented him from moving and kept him in place.
Although to be honest it was hardly necessary since Henric was so shocked he could not move an inch.
Serena was above him, leaning into his body with her big breasts caressing his chest. Her lean figure was in a suggestive position, where her right hand was holding his shoulder and the other was on his stomach, slowly inching lower to a place of secrets. Her eyes were half shut and held a look of sweet bliss, the type to be found after eating to your full but wishing you were hungry again to eat more. But none of these things were what shocked Stuart, Sister Becca or Henric.
No, it was the fact that Serena was kissing him!
Her delicate cherry lips were teasing, touching and tasting his lips with the joy of a child that had found a sweet lollipop. It was no wonder that Sister Becca had fainted, Stuart's knees felt like they were on the brink of collapse.
What in the name of all creation was he seeing!?
"St-Stuart!" Henric said as if waking up from a stupor, which he might as well have been. He moved his lips away from the red haired woman who smirked and sat down on his bed freeing him to move.
"Henric...you...her...wha...w..." Stuart struggled to talk as his mind tried to process all had seen.
But what had he seen? Henric and Serena looked like they were about to commence the dance of passion. The look of pleasure on the cook's face was... atrocious. Serena may not have realized it but she'd put half the women her husband slept with to shame with just that kiss alone. The skill, technique and talent of smooching was something she had had for a long time and so she didn't care. But unfortunately for the poor souls who had been by the door, they had been a step away from leaving the world behind and going to the heavens from shock.
" Stuart. Are you alright? " Henric asked his friend who looked at him and then at the woman on his bed. Henric following his eyes quickly raised his hands to explain.
" No, we were not doing anything obscene. " He said but Stuart raised his brows higher. He did not believe that statement, not after what he'd seen.
" Oh, come off it. I've been a cook here for a time and not once has my eye lingered on you holy children." Serena said looking at the blonde with a frown but when she looked at the fallen nun on the floor her eyes sparkled like stars," But I wish to have done this before. The look on that hags face, it was brilliant and beautiful. Hahaha."
The woman laughed for a while, feeling so happy to bring some anarchy upon that self-righteous fossil of bones. Truly, she thought with tears of joy in her eyes, I should have done this infront of the whole lot of them. It would be the greatest scandal to fall on the place.
" Stuart, would you come in?" Henric said softly, " I called Serena to help me talk to Carey. He has been...it does not matter. Serena has a spell to make it so I go to him instead of him calling me."
"Go where, and spell? Magic spell?" Stuart asked as he walked into the room and Henric shut the door behind him.
Nobody thought about Sister Becca laying unconscious outside.
" Yes. A simple spell, not taxing and not dangerous... hopefully." Serena said folding her legs together on the bed.
" Hopefully? Henric what are you doing? " Stuart asked holding his hand," The words in the kitchen were dangerous enough to have you thrown out to the streets. Sister Becca was here to drag you away to the Reverend father and now you are dabbling in black magic?"
" This is not black magic, it's white magic." Serena said coily, " More beneficial and less risky. I'm not here to kill anyone. Let alone a child, I'm not in mood to be stoned to death or burnt at the stake."
" I don't want to hear it. Black magic, white magic, it doesn't matter. We are children raised to believe in a higher power, the highest power. And one lesson we know is to not dabble with magic." Stuart said with a tense frown.
" Your words mean little when you wear my magic trinkets. " Serena said as she pointed to Stuart's wrist," Anyway, it is not your choice to make. It is Henric who must choose to take his soul into the mirror and try to find his...umm."
" Carey." Henric said but Serena waved her hand.
" Whatever, the point is, it's his soul to risk and his choice to make. I am only to help him with the spell, what he does afterwards is his affair. " She said putting her chin on her hands.
"But-"
" Stuart." Henric said in a calm voice," I wish to do this. My days, hours and seconds feel empty without Carey in it. He's my soulmate. Please do not stop me."
" But what of the danger? You're risking your soul. What if you're dragged to hell by demons or become a ghost... what if your body dies when your soul leaves?" Stuart stood tense and anxious, his hands clemced tight.
" Demons? They would need to be summoned first for that to happen and becoming a poltergeist is not an easy affair. Although a few roam here and there, unless Henric dies of a horrid reason, he will be fine." Serena said ," white magic protects life and so his body will be fine when he's out from it. Worry not, I am a powerful witch and will succeed."
" You said hopefully the spell would work at first, you are not sure. Is it worth the risk?"
" Yes." Henric said vehemently and Stuart looked at him to see a strong resolve in his eyes. It was then that Stuart felt like he was seeing something important but he didn't know what and sadly he would not for long time.
"Henric, I just-" Stuart was cut off by a loud screech that rang across the whole orphanage like a banshee's scream.
" HELP! HELP! "
All three of them started and turned to the door, Henric was the first to move and he was outside in the corridor in a flash. He ignored the awakening Sister Becca and focused on what was happening around them.
Children were running around screaming and nuns were rushing with them, wailing with a sound like the essence of grief had come alive and embraced them. Henric grabbed a wandering boy by the shoulder and asked what was happening.
" The Reverend father...he's DEAD!" the boy screamed and pulled out of Henric's grasp to join the throng of madness and grief.
"Henric? What did he say?"
The words Stuart spoke hardly filtered through Henric's head. He's mind was reeling with what had just been said and he didn't know what to say, he didn't believe his mouth would have obeyed him anyway.
" You, child... revolting, shameful! " Sister Becca got to her feet with a couple of deep breaths," First men now with the staff, you lecherous disgrace on our good name. Sinful stain upon creation, I will ugh... ahhh! "
The rest of her rant died as Serena grabbed her throat and began to throttle the woman and then with a strong pull, they went into Henric's room and Serena shut the door.
Sister Becca's screams could still be heard but they just joined the choir of screams across the whole orphanage.
