Chapter 60: Duskvale Plateu (Part 2)

"Don't tell me you've taken the wrong path," Ilodyer covered his ears with his hands, "I knew I shouldn't have let a dwarf lead the way."

"Who says I'd lead us astray!"

"If you didn't lead us astray..." Ilodyer swallowed hard, "How did you end up leading us to the ogre's home..."

In front of the dwarf Thurin were several glowing green eyes, a color that they had become extremely familiar with by now.

There were no wild animals on the Duskvale Plateu, and the only creatures with such eyes were probably ogres.

The wind blowing now happened to be from the west.

If it were any other direction, they would probably have smelled the stench emanating from the ogre long ago.

"You wouldn't do this on purpose, would you?" Ilodyer stepped back, and bumping into the Elven King.

"Shut your sharp mouth," the dwarf Thurin tightened his grip on his battle-axe, "I'll hold them off here, you guys go around."
