Chapter 343: Chapter 342 "The Nile Tricera"

Wentworth's smile turned dry as he quietly took a few steps back. As expected, the next moment, Professor Laura erupted in anger: "He actually said he has no interest in exchanging ideas with pathetic competitors! You bastard! That bastard! He just won by chance. What does he have to be proud of?! Why would he be so prideful that he won't even return a bit of kindness when the only thing I do is ask him nicely?"

Wentworth felt a lump in his throat, sensing the rising tension.

"Ha ha," Wentworth chuckled nervously, edging away, "Professor Laura, you're still in class, right? I won't disturb you any longer. I have things to attend to. I'll take my leave! See you later, Professor!"

But before he could turn, Professor Laura's cold voice stopped him in his tracks, "Stop! Stop, right there."

Wentworth bolted, ignoring Professor Laura's command. Stop? Not a chance! He wasn't about to become Professor Laura's punching bag just because she wanted to redirect her anger from Professor Snape

Professor Laura, caught off guard by Wentworth's reaction, hastily pursued him, issuing threats as she ran, "Wentworth, I warn you! If you run again, I won't hold back! I will treat you rudely from now on!"

Hearing Professor Laura's warning, Wentworth swiftly drew his wand, casting a protective charm around himself.

Without looking back, he continued sprinting in a single direction.

Witnessing the standoff, Professor Laura, panting from her pursuit, came to an abrupt halt and shouted, "If you run again, I'll write to Hogwarts immediately and inform Snape that his students lack the courage to step foot in my classroom!"

Wentworth froze in his tracks, weighing his options.

Eventually, he turned to face Professor Laura with a wry smile, "Professor Laura, what's the matter that got you so worked up? I have no interest in anything concerning you or Professor Snape!"

Professor Laura approached Wentworth calmly, her demeanor relaxed, "It seems Snape's students take Hogwarts' reputation quite seriously."

Wentworth retorted with frustration, "The honor of Hogwarts has been built over centuries by countless wizards. I may want to shatter it, but I can't! I just don't want to return to Hogwarts and endure Snape's ridicule. That's all!"

Professor Laura's smile softened as she replied, "You're not wrong. From what I know of Snape, he's quite capable of that. Don't worry, I don't intend any harm. I simply aim to leverage your status as a Hogwarts student. This has nothing to do with you, but I have an unfinished business with him and I want you to compensate for that."

"Sigh... I guess I could take a few minutes to attend your class, Professor..." Wentworth replied, he was defeated by this woman's cunningness.

Upon hearing Professor Laura's explanation, Wentworth exchanged puzzled glances with Professor Laura.

"Now, that's the spirit! Come with me for a while!" She exclaimed with a smile, revealing her bright white teeth.

Soon, he followed her back into the classroom. As he entered, his gaze was immediately drawn to a peculiar creature standing at the front of the room.

Resembling a sika deer at first glance, this creature sported three horns atop its head, swiveling its head in evident unease.

Meanwhile, the other students in the classroom observed Wentworth with curiosity.

Stepping forward, Professor Laura addressed the class of Uagadou students, "My fellow students, you may recognize the individual beside me. This is Wentworth Dumbledore, a fellow student from Hogwarts, Europe's most esteemed wizarding school. He's here today to join us in our studies."

"I spoke with Wentworth outside and discovered he possesses a high level of skill in potions. As such, I've invited him to participate in today's lesson as an example for all of you."

"We'll be crafting a Wideye Potion capable of rousing those in a coma. Each of you will work alongside Wentworth to create this potion. I expect everyone to give their best effort—don't let our guests from Hogwarts outshine you!"

Professor Laura then asked while pointing toward the creature in front of the classroom, "Wentworth, can you tell me what creature is this?"

As Professor Laura's question hung in the air, Wentworth couldn't help but feel the weight of the Uagadou students' expectant gazes. With a somewhat awkward smile, he turned to face them, noticing their intense scrutiny, which seemed to pierce right through him.

However, Professor Laura's question provided a welcome distraction.

Feeling a surge of relief, Wentworth drew on his knowledge from a summer camp spent with Mr. Newt Scamander, grateful for the opportunity to showcase his expertise.

Approaching the creature with three horns, Wentworth observed its growing unease. Despite its agitation, he continued forward, determined to calm the magical creature.

As he reached its side and gently stroked its soft hair, a remarkable transformation unfolded before his eyes. The once-disturbed creature gradually quieted down, even going so far as to lightly touch Wentworth's arm with one of its long horns.

In the hushed atmosphere of the classroom, Wentworth's voice cut through the silence, deliberate and measured, "This creature, known as the Nile Tricera, is native to the Sudanese region along the Nile River. It holds great significance not only for its rarity but primarily for the unique trio of horns adorning its head."

With a gesture, Wentworth directed attention to the creature's distinctive feature, elaborating further, "The two horns flanking either side are prized for their potent antidotal properties. Even a small amount of powder derived from these horns can neutralize most common toxins."

"However, it is the central horn that holds the most remarkable qualities. It possesses the ability to invigorate the mind, enhancing a wizard's spellcasting speed momentarily and even dispelling certain curses. Moreover, it serves as a key ingredient in numerous magical potions, including the wake-up potion we are about to create."

As Wentworth concluded his explanation, Professor Laura couldn't contain her admiration, applauding with a clap of her hands.

However, the response was scattered, indicating some skepticism lingering among the students.

Professor Laura then handed Wentworth a folder, explaining, "We've brought the Nile Tricera into the classroom because its long horns can't be separated from its body for too long. Now, Wentworth, I'd like you to demonstrate how to extract these horns."

Taking the folder from Professor Laura, Wentworth examined it briefly before returning it.

However, the response from the students was less than enthusiastic, resulting in some boos.

Perplexed, Professor Laura inquired, "What's the matter, Wentworth? Don't you agree?"

Wentworth offered a reassuring smile and shook his head, replying, "Regarding the extraction of the Nile Tricera's horns, my Potions professor at Hogwarts, Professor Snape, once taught me a highly effective spell. Today, I'm more than willing to share it with you, free of charge!"

With that declaration, Wentworth produced his wand, while Professor Laura watched on, her expression reflecting a mixture of emotions.
