Establishing a Mutant kingdom may sound straightforward in theory, but in reality, it requires meticulous planning and preparation. With millions of Mutants scattered across the globe, considerations such as where to settle and how to govern become paramount.
The first challenge lies in selecting a suitable location for the Mutant kingdom. With millions of inhabitants needing housing, resources, and infrastructure, the task is daunting. However, with sufficient financial resources, options abound. One possibility is purchasing a large tract of unclaimed land, such as an uninhabited island or even an expanse of ocean, and transforming it into a habitable territory.
Alex's mastery over atomic control presents another intriguing possibility. With his abilities, he could theoretically create an entire continent from scratch. However, such a drastic action would undoubtedly draw opposition from governments worldwide, potentially sparking conflict and resistance.
Thus, the establishment of a Mutant kingdom must be approached with caution. It requires not only a suitable location but also a strategic plan to assert Mutant dominance without provoking widespread hostility.
One potential avenue is to showcase Mutant power in a way that positions them as saviors rather than threats. By leveraging their abilities to address global crises or provide aid in times of need, Mutants can garner support and establish themselves as allies to humanity rather than adversaries.
However, any attempt to establish a Mutant kingdom must tread carefully. Despite their extraordinary abilities, Mutants are still a minority in a world predominantly inhabited by humans. Any action perceived as a threat to human dominance could incite backlash and jeopardize the stability of the Mutant community.
In this delicate balancing act, timing is crucial. Waiting for the right opportunity, such as a major global event like the New York war, could provide the catalyst needed to assert Mutant sovereignty without inciting outright hostility. It's a high-stakes game, but with careful planning and strategic maneuvering, the dream of a Mutant kingdom could become a reality.
Alex was contemplating how to establish the Mutant kingdom when the phone suddenly rang.
Only his close associates—women, friends, and students—had his mobile number. Who could be calling from an unfamiliar number?
Alex harbored some suspicions but still answered the call.
"Is this Alex, the consultant?" A deep male voice emanated from the other end.
"Consultant?" Alex pondered for a moment, then recalled that he might have been a consultant for somewhere in S.H.I.E.L.D.
It had been so long that he had almost forgotten about it.
"Who's asking?" Alex inquired suspiciously.
"Nick Fury, SHIELD Director," came the response from the other end.
Alex rubbed his chin, taken aback by how quickly Nick Fury had risen to the position of SHIELD Director.
But why did Fury want to talk to him?
"Consultant Alex, our S.H.I.E.L.D file indicates that you have a close connection with Magneto, and you should understand the gravity of Magneto's actions in kidnapping members of Congress," Nick Fury stated firmly.
Alex couldn't help but smirk at the audacity. Was this guy attempting to intimidate him?
"Huh? And?" Alex replied, his tone firm.
"The abduction of Senator Kelly won't solve anything. If you don't want the divide between mutants and humans to worsen, please persuade Magneto to release Senator Kelly," Nick Fury urged over the phone.
"What are you going on about? Your signal's terrible; I didn't catch any of that, just a lot of crackling~~~ Oh! The interference is too much; I'll have to hang up. Goodbye." Alex abruptly ended the call, tossing the phone aside and promptly blocking the number.
"My dear, whose call was that?" Raven Bian asked, giving Alex a puzzled look. Was he really pretending a bad signal and hanging up?
"Just some nuisance, Nick Fury called. You know how it is," Alex shrugged nonchalantly.
What a joke, asking him to persuade Eric to release Councillor Kelly, knowing their relationship. Wasn't that utterly foolish?
"Nick Fury? I remember him. He was a good guy," Raven thought for a while and said lightly.
"Nick Fury can only be regarded as a code name. The real Nick Fury is a white man. This guy is Nick Fury's son and has used his dad's code name. His real name is Jason, also known as Little Nicholas Fury," Alex explained lightly.
"Hey, I thought he really was Nick Fury." Raven nodded.

S.H.I.E.L.D.
Nick Fury looked at the hung-up call with a speechless face and sighed. He had already expected the result, didn't he?
Nick glanced at the files on the table. They were all records about the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Apocalypse catastrophe. They clearly recorded the files about Alex, Eric, and Charles.
Obviously, the relationship between these three people is very good.
"Add more people to search for Magneto's premises. If you can contact Professor X, we can provide help and let him find Magneto's base." Nick Fury issued an order.
