Chapter 29 - I agree!

Just like that, Sukuna had spent a month inside of the Land of Sound. It was safe to say that 80% of the people were either part or had known about the experiments.
Sukuna currently sat on a raised chair, looking at the people in front of him with a cold gaze.
In front of him kneeled the Daimyo of the Land of Sound with his personal guards, the area around them destroyed by their fight as Sukuna made sure nobody could escape.
However, he strangely didn't kill anybody to the Daimyo's surprise.
''You want power, right?'' Sukuna's cold voice entered the Daimyo's ears as he was sweating bullets.
''Yes, s...sir'' The Daimyo replied with gritted teeth, feeling humiliation that he had to address someone as if he was a superior.
''Now now, no need to feel so agitated'' Sukuna said from behind his mask as he got down from the chair and stood in front of the kneeling Daimyo.
''You already gave me the information about Orochimaru that I needed. Besides, I left a mark on you. If you ever try to betray me, death will naturally be a blessing for you'' Sukuna said coldly as he walked past the kneeling crowd.
The Daimyo noticed his personal guards tremble and gritted his teeth, ''Understood''
Sukuna stopped his pace and asked, ''Don't you think that compared to the other Daimyo's treatment, yours is rather lackluster?''
The Daimyo's mind remembered their previous gatherings and couldn't help but admit that that was the truth compared to the Five Great Land's treatment....
''Since I already marked you, you can't even speak about my identity if you wanted to. So I will make sure you follow me willingly'' Sukuna's words fell as the Sound Daimyo looked up in shock while he removed his mask.
As their eyes met, Sukuna began to speak slowly,
''My name is Sukuna Senju, current patriarch of the Senju Clan. The Clan that created the Leaf Village, the reason why those Daimyo's are held in such high status. I will only ask you this once, I can give you a status superior to the Fire Daimyo if you follow me. Compare me with Orochimaru and choose''
The Sound Daimyo opened his eyes in shock. Naturally, he knew about the youngest Senju Clan Patriarch who was the cause of Konoha's recent chaos.
Sukuna openly disregarded Konoha's rule many times. Yet nothing happened to the Senju's, as for why? The Sound Daimyo could only speculate that the Senju's weren't as weak as everyone thought.
And Sukuna proved that... His guards, his Personal Guards, both were destroyed by Sukuna in a nonchalant manner despite them all being similar to at least a Chuunin while his best Personal Guards were similar to experienced Jonin!
The blue aura surrounding him made the Sound Daimyo clear that Sukuna was hiding many cards, not just from him, but also from Konohagakure!
''I accept!'' The Sound Daimyo said with greed filling his eyes.
The other Daimyo's always disregarded him, which caused him to accept Orochimaru's 'proposal'. He was always greedy for power, for money, for status....
''Good'' Sukuna's voice fell as the Daimyo suddenly felt the world spin as a sharp metal sound rang through his mind....
'Ehh?.... That is... my body?' The Daimyo's confused thought left his mind as he saw his own body kneeling with blood flowing from his neck.
''DAMN YOU!'' The personal guards roared and wanted to attack Sukuna who had already placed the Daimyo's head back next to his body.
''Stay silent for a bit'' Sukuna said as multiple clones knocked out the personal guards who were clearly already weakened and placed several lower ranked guards around the Daimyo's corpse.
Sukuna took a deep breath and put his palms on the ground,
''Dai Fukkatsu''
The Chakra in the surroundings started to create a small whirlpool above the Daimyo as the head slowly started attaching itself to its body once more.
The lower-ranked guards were all on the brink of death and didn't have the time nor energy to scream before they died, serving their purpose to 'serve' and revive their Daimyo.
The Daimyo's eyes jumped open as he hastily looked around and saw Sukuna looking at him with an emotionless gaze.
The Daimyo hastily crawled back and screamed with a ghastly pale expression, ''Please don't! I can give you money, power, women! Anything you ask but please spare my life!''
''Don't you see that you already died?'' Sukuna asked coldly which caused the Daimyo to hastily feel his neck where it was still removing the scar.
''D...did you just... revive me?'' The Daimyo asked with confusion on his face as he looked at his own hands, nothing felt different compared to before his head was cut off!
''Yes, which means that I can kill you with a mere thought'' Sukuna said with a cold voice. However, instead of showing fear, the Daimyo's eyes lit up as he kneeled and slammed his head on the ground, nearly hard enough to cause a concussion.
''Sir! Please bring my wife and daughter back to life!'' The Daimyo begged without any indignation or shame.
Sukuna was momentarily taken aback before he asked, ''Why should I?''
The Daimyo's eyes turned resolute as a flash of wisdom passed his experienced gaze,
''If Sir didn't have any use for me, he would control me without having to leave my spirit intact. You have a need for me to actively follow your commands''
Sukuna looked at him before he started bursting out laughing, causing confusion in the Daimyo's mind as he thought he was wrong, but Sukuna stretched out a hand towards his kneeling figure and helped him up.
''The requirements are 24 sacrifices per person, they need to be alive'' Sukuna said as the Daimyo's eyes lit up before he yelled,
''Thank you! From now on, the Land of Sound will follow the Senju Clan until the end!'' The Daimyo bowed and said earnestly, making Sukuna having to hide his smile.
The Land of Sound was different from others, their Daimyo was easy to control, previously; arrogant, conceited, greedy.
However, it seemed he had lost people precious to him, which made it even easier to fully control him.
The Daimyo wasn't actually that big of a fool considering he could hide Orochimaru from his neighbors for decades.
'Now for the last part, if I want to have full control of this place, I need to get rid of that snake' Sukuna's eyes turned cold.
The Daimyo hastily came running back with a few trembling maids while the Daimyo had a huge smile on his face.
''Sir, they are here!'' The Daimyo said with a happy grin on his old face.
''Good, lets finish this''

''Hinata! This is for the clan!'' A man with long black hair said sternly as Hinata held the edge of her clothes.
''Yes Hinata-chan, we're currently not in the best position and you're the only one who can help us'' An old woman with a slightly chubby body said 'warmly'.
''In the Third Ninja War, we lost a-….''
The discussions continued as they continued trying to get Hinata to agree with them.
''ENOUGH!''
All the Hyúga elders shook and looked at Hiashi who yelled in shock, anger visibly present on his face as he said,
''This meeting is done! Hinata, go to your room!''
Hinata looked at her father for a short moment before mumbling, ''Understood father''
As Hinata left, the elders immediately started attacking Hiashi,
''Hiashi? What was that about?! Kumo definitely didn't give up on stealing our Byakugan!'' The slightly chubby old woman said in anger, clearly showing her true character.
It was obvious they tried to play the villain and the hero to convince her until Hiashi put his feet down.
''Hinata will not get married unless she wishes to do so! This meeting is adjourned!'' Hiashi said in anger and left the place without looking back, internally cursing Sukuna.
Hiashi walked to Hinata's room and knocked on the door, causing a soft voice to ask, ''Who is there?''
''It's me'' Hiashi said, causing a lot of hasty rumbling through the room as the door swung open.
''Come in dad'' Hinata said with red eyes, clearly indicating that she just cried.
Hiashi went inside and sat at a small table in her room, he looked around and couldn't help but feel bitter that he didn't even know how his own daughter's room looked like.
Hinata just silently sat opposite of her father and looked at the floor with a nervous expression. Hiashi looked at her with a deep look as his mind cursed Sukuna once more.
''Do you not wish to marry him? He is more than qualified, he is strong, kind to his clan and has great p-...'' Hiashi explained.
''That's not it!'' Hinata softly interrupted as she hastily shut up.
''Then what is it?'' Hiashi asked with a frown.
Hinata hesitated for a moment before she said softly while looking down, ''W...we will force him to help us resolve our problems without giving anything back. He has helped me a lot, I can't do that to him''
Hiashi gave her a deep look before sighing, he grabbed into his pockets and revealed an envelope.
''Open it'' Hiashi said with a bitter expression Hinata hadn't seen before.
She hesitantly took the envelope and opened it, revealing a small note.

I'm currently not in the village as you might have noticed, but just to make things clear once more;
YOU choose, nobody can force since I will simply don't agree to the marriage as long as you feel pressured. Regardless of what you choose, your clan will be safe. Trust me.

''What is in it?'' Hiashi asked as Hinata had small tears dropping from her face, yet they were happy tears.
Hinata didn't answer and just carefully put the note into the envelope. Hiashi couldn't help but be curious as he wanted to activate his Byakugan, but Hinata hastily turned her body around with a red face and hid the envelope.
Hiashi was stunned for a short moment before a small smile creeped onto his face, maybe Sukuna was right.
''I agree to the marriage'' Hinata said with blushing cheeks and happy smile on her face.
''I see, in that case, lets tell the elders since they are still here. It will lessen the pressure on you'' Hiashi said with a warm look in his eyes as he stood up and walked out of her room.
''Mmm!'' Hinata nodded with a happy smile and stood up as well before skipping after her father, it seemed that the two grew a little bit closer.
