Chapter 10: Chapter 9: UA Visit
Muramasa Residence morning...
Ryu is in his workshop drawing desk sketching for both Aizawa's knife and Midnight's whip. He then look at his binder for references and found one to fit Aizawa easily concealable and able to damage a person and as for the whip he searches up in the Internet for one until he founds one. He then sketch the designs of the knife and whip. His final design of Aizawa's knife it was a simple military knife that can conceal itself from his leg. With midnight her whip still looks the same old whip but the leather is made of kangaroo or k-leather since its the strongest material for making a whip.
At the forging station...
Ryu then began to work on Aizawa's knife since he can make one very fast he first heated the metal to a good temperature and began to upset the metal first and used his powerhammer to shape the metal and for percision is him hammering the metal. And began to look like a knife then he places it back from the forge he then grabs them using his tongs and heat treating the metal he inspect it for Any warps, Kinks, cracks, and imperfections from the piece. He then begins to shape it once more but using the sanding belts and sharpen the blade as well. After that he then move on to make the handle he will use African black wood as the handle to fit Aizawa's concealment from his costume's color. He then assemble the rest the blade, the knife crossguard, the handle and pommel. Since its a hidden tang he used epoxy resin a the adhesive to assemble the entire knife all he has to do is to wait until the epoxy dries up and bonds with the handle.
While he is waiting for the epoxy to dry and bond with the handle he begins to make the handle for the whip with a piece of wood and begin to shape it into a whip handle. And now for the time consuming part the braiding of the leather he has decided the length of the whip reaching 2.5 meters he then begins to braid the handle which he had no problems. Until he has to braid the whip itself it took him about 2 days to finish the whip from all of the braiding. Before he send them he has to test them out for the whip he then cracks it and strikes the tree he checks the whip which had no problem no damage, cracks, unbinding of the leather, and wear and tear from the whip except for the tip. As for the knife he used empty bottles and jugs as a test dummy for cutting and stab as for strength and durability he used a piece of wood from his scrap pile and thin sheets of metal he then strike the knife from 2 material he then checked lull wring the test.
UA front gates...
Ryu who is holding two boxes with one a knife and the other is the whip. He then enters UA and began to walk towards the campus. Some of the students were looking at him strangely some asked is he a hero or something. But Ryu ignored these stares and went to the building and began to walk towards the teacher faculty.
"Hey... Is Mr. Aizawa here and Ms. Midnight because I have deliveries since they request my services" he said at some of the teachers look a him until one woman approach him "You are?" he asked "Yes that would be me and why is that?" she asked Ryu "Well ma'am... I have a request from Aizawa to give this whip for you" as he said it Midnight was surprised about Aizawa's request for him to make her a whip "Why would he request me for a new whip my whip is just fine" she said showing her whip to him the he inspect the whip until he told her about her whip "That whip will someday snap from the sheer force of the cracking or you holding on to another villain or student" he said making midnight shock about her whip he continues "That whip is already worn and torn look at it the whip's leather is tearing itself apart also the leather itself is not real leather but synthetic" he then gave Midnight the box with the whip inside "Go on try mines" he said With midnight in a shock state that her whip is about to break then he took Ryu's handmade leather she unboxed the leather and sees something like a priceless artifact he grabs the leather then it begins to secret her aroma "wha-what!? What's going on with your whip Mr...." she asked and panicing a bit "It's Ryu Muramasa what you are seeing is the work of my quirk to summarise anything I create can embed with anyones quirk immediately" after saying this the teacher look at him with their eyes open and Midnight with her jaw dropped "What!? That's impossible you can't have this type of quirk!?" with her looking at him with shock "Well... Have you seen the news about Yoroi Musha's katana, Ryukuyu's armor, and Hawk's swords?" everyone nods including midnight until the realization hit them who made them those "Wait a moment you made those weapons and armor using your quirk? " she asked Ryu "Yes while you excuse me can you tell me where the principal' s office is?" asking the teachers then one of them who looks like a block with light grey skin show him the location
Principals office...
Ryu arrived at the office and nezu was sitting in his chair with Aizawa. Ryu chucked the box where his knife is and Aizawa catches it and unboxed the knife inside he was impressed with his skills inspecting the knife. "Thanks so... Did you give the whip that I requested?" asking Ryu "Yeah Midnight was somewhat dumbfounded that her new whip can secrete out her quirk" then nezu is now interested about his blacksmithing skills "So tell me Muramasa-san where did you learn how to do blacksmithing" he asked. "Well, My father taught me from a very young age until my late teen years I stop because of the debt my family have. So I left my craft to be a salesman from a small company then I quit right after my father died from a villain attack and relearned my father's old skills and reopened his old smiting shop. I got paid so much from not just the return of the old shop but my father's old clients help my family to pay off some of my family's debts. Then my mother died from an incurable disease and I was alone but I still continue my father's craft and passed down skill to good use." he explained his past about how he learned his blacksmithing skills "Meaning you were interested to be a Blacksmith back when you were a child huh..." Nezu ponders about his back story "So... Where's my payment for those two's request of my services" he asked then nezu grabs his paycheck and wrote down 15 million yen for both request and gave the paycheck to Ryu and he folds it and put it on his wallet "Well then Ryu are you ready to show the students that they dying art of blacksmithing is not dying?" he asked then Ryu looks at him and smirks a bit and said "Aright then... I'll show them what I'm capable of" with his fist clenched he is showing the students the art of blacksmithing.
