Chapter 57: 57. Giant

Tristan grunted.... He grunted again, as gradually, light began to flood his vision for the first time in a while.

His time unconscious had been blank. No dreams of any sort formed and he only remembered what had happened to him when his eyelids finally parted to behold the world around him.

It took him a few seconds to finally understand what he was looking at, but he soon concluded that his location was a room.

This wasn't his first time, but he already had questions. Fortunately, he focused on making sure he was alright first before even giving thought to those questions.

"I guess we've arrived at that place," he muttered. "And they are already treating me as the prisoner that I am." He sighed.

He had become aware of the cuffs that bound him to the railings of that bed. It didn't surprise him, though.

In fact, he felt thankful to them that his cuffs were attached to a chain no more than a foot long, which was then attached to the bed.
