Chapter 54: Seal the Deal

Suzy, who was given the shock of the morning, banging her head on the headrest. She then laid back to rest for a while. Meanwhile, Chris exited the bathroom, tip-toed to the cloakroom, got ready and left the room.

After somewhile, Suzy woke up to nature's call. She had blurry vision, supported herself and went to the washroom to relieve herself.

The moment Suzy exited the washroom, her sight was met with a fine white bone-china soup bowl.

The bowl had a brown concoction quite pungent but aromatic. She scrunched her nose at it. Upon following the hands that held it cautiously, she found Chris.

"What? Am I that handsome per say you never came across a fine gene beholder in your previous years?" Chris teased leisurely.

He was met with a silent stare. Seeing that she was standing at the ceremony, he held her hand and handed over the bowl.

He then said briskly, "Don't stare at me, just drink it up, you need this."
