Chapter 51: Couldn't refuse the money

Suzy was surprised when an unknown woman approached and hugged her. "Congratulations on marrying my ex-fiance. By the way, I'm Madison." She handed her a bouquet while wishing her a good married life. 

Daniel frowned to hear Madison's words because that wasn't something one should say in their first meeting. 

Chris took the bouquet from Suzy and tossed it to the ground. "Take your trash and leave," he said with a furious tone. Suzy didn't expect such a reaction from Chris and found the glances at them from the guests present there. 

"Chris, the guests are watching," Suzy whispered underneath her breath . 

Daniel was quick to pick the flower bouquet and stood next to Suzy. "I think your husband needs a beating," he whispered in Suzy's ear.
