Alex returned to the penthouse after cleaning up from the breakfast he had made for himself and Amahle. He did not drive the armored Mercedes back to his mother's casino instead; he took another car.

After all, he did not want to attract any unnecessary attention, especially when he considered the fact that the authorities were still desperately searching for the man responsible for the shooting that occurred the previous night.
