She should be rejoicing.

"They want me to go home," Jules repeated her stepsister's words as she stared at herself in the mirror, getting ready for the morning.

Nevertheless, she remembered the slightly awkward dinner she shared with her stepsister. The food was delicious, but she could hardly enjoy the meal. Then, they could barely hold a conversation until they fell back into silence. 

What could she expect when they had lost communication for years? Moreover, she still felt the tension in her stepsister's behavior. It was like she was different.

"Of course, she is different." How could she expect that she would remain the same?

Still, she had dreamed of this moment when she could finally step inside her family home with warm, welcoming arms greeting her by the door.
