The bright sunlight, fresh air, and a warm coffee usually was enough to start up his morning. A jog around the perimeter or a workout in his private gym would surely pump up his energy.

But that was before.

Before, he discovered something better.

Now, he woke up with a new perspective on life. He believed he had taken a new leaf and had become a new man.

"Wake up, sweetheart." 

It was all because of her.

The woman that was lying asleep beside him.

The woman he had married and gave him a son. She was the reason for his change of heart. She had given him a new way to look at things.

"Hey, sleepy head."

He nuzzled his nose on the crook of her neck, hoping that would finally snap her into consciousness. But the only reaction he got was a gentle moan and a mild accidental slap of her hand on his face.
