And what happened to the gold digger he slept with?

Those questions plagued his mind as they sat quietly in the car on their way to their destination. At least she was not talking to him at the moment.

He could not determine whether what he saw in her these past few days was only part of her charade. Because the woman he knew was nothing like her. 

He could not disregard the files of investigation he had on her. Still, what he discovered in those reports would be, more or less, different from what was sitting beside him.

"Dad, what is that?" Oliver penetrated his thoughts as he tugged on his shirt to catch his attention.

He guessed the only voice that filled the small space between them was their son, who could not contain his excitement upon seeing his new surroundings.
