Chapter 41: Extra : Barneas and Balian (Part 1)

Since childhood, Barneas had adored his Uncle Balian very much.

His father was strict, he was always absorbed in studying magic arrays, while his loving mother, was engrossed in her work. So, they only had little time to spare with him.

His grandfather was kind, but also occupied with his own tasks.

But, Uncle Balian was different.

He wasn't someone with many words, often he only showed an expressionless face.

People likened him to an iceberg, but Barneas knew him better.

Whenever his swordsmanship improved, Uncle Balian would gently pat his head and say, ''Well done.''

And For those words, Barneas tirelessly practiced his martial skills and swordsmanship, yearning for more of his Uncle Balian's praise.

Sometimes he would often find reasons to visit his uncle, who never shooed him away as a bother, and allowed him to sit and watch his uncle's training sessions.
