The voice, though familiar, seemed to register in Lady Clarissa's consciousness belatedly. She promptly contemplated the unexpected visitor behind the door, taking her a while to process who it belonged to.

"Leticia, is that you?" she finally inquired.

"Yes, Esteemed Lady," came the dutiful response from the other side of the door.

Lady Clarissa didn't seem to care about her dress slipping down her shoulder, exposing the flawless skin of her back. Nonchalantly, she sauntered towards the door, fingers casually twisting the knob before swinging it wide open.

Though she expected they would see each other again, she was nonetheless slightly taken aback when she saw Leticia, standing on the threshold with a basket of towels in hand.
