Suddenly, Aki said something like he would die and that the goddess of vampires was toying with him... He looked at me with such gentle eyes, like the night he protected me from my dad's fist and carried me from that horrible house, and we became lovers for the first time.

"Rena, can you please trust me? Right now, we are in a life-or-death situation... Like that night when your dad was drunk with the steel bat..." 

Ah... Aki was thinking the same thing.

I know I shouldn't be happy, but it makes me so happy to know we are always on the same wavelength.

He wants to make a scene so we can escape... escape towards Sylvia's kingdom where they are not likely to chase us, but how will he escape?

I don't want to leave Akira's side...
