Chapter 5: Cheating woman
Country M
In the water garden behind the luxurious manor, there were sounds of water splashing. He stepped out of the water while waving his long fingers across his damp hair.
He walked gracefully up to the top and put his hands on the phone that had been vibrating for the fifth time. He saw the caller's Id and his eyes narrowed, he picked it up.
"Good morning Mr. Brigh" It was his assistant, Wang, who was talking to him. He seemed happy about something which his boss was yet to discover.
The man didn't respond as he wanted him to proceed with what he had to say. He exited the water completely and grabbed the towel from the seat. He wrapped it around his waist before entering his luxurious house
Wang continued, "M&G corporation wants to have a meeting with you this evening, they suddenly called for a transaction" He breathed out.
With his free hand, the guy reached for the refrigerator. He retrieved a bottle of fresh water, and he didn't need to use his other hand to unscrew the cap because he simply flicked it gently with his right hand, the bottle's tight cap was unscrewed immediately and it went into the bin three meters away from him.
He gulped the water down, "What time is it?" His deep voice rang in the dining hall he was in, and even the person on the other side of the phone felt a sudden chill running down his back when his boss spoke.
"6 in the evening" He responded with a happy smile on his face.
The man waited for a while as if recalling that he had an appointment at that same time, he said, "Cancel it"
Wang's eyes widened, he inquired. "Cancel what sir?" The bright smile on his face had fallen like it had never been there before.
"The meeting" The man calmly spoke, "I have an appointment with Peony," He said and hung up the call.
"Mr Brigh... Hello, Mr Brigh..." Wang yelled on the other side of the phone. "Aish" He released a frustrated groan.
Why was his boss this outrageous? M&G was a big corporation and he knew that the transaction between them would yield about $100,000,000 if not more, but his boss had blatantly refused it, and he didn't even know the cause of it.
And Wang had foolishly told the other party that his boss would be at the meeting, he said it before consulting his boss.
What kind of trouble awaited him like this, he must find a way to appease the boss of M&G Corp, because he heard that the man was a carnivore. who knows what he would do if wang failed in his promise, eat him, perhaps.
As he was walking away thinking of what he was going to do with his life, now that he had fallen into the pit of a lion.
He received a call, and he inserted his hand into his pocket to pick up his phone, "Who's this idiot" He groaned angrily. Who was the person that wanted to disturb him now that he was between life and death?
When he saw his Boss's name on it, he slapped his mouth and looked around. Hoping that no one had heard him.
The flies that spread gossip could be around him and if word got to his boss, he was screwed!
It was so hard getting a job in this corp, he must cherish his work and hold his boss tightly. "Yes, Mr. Brigh" He answered with a big smile, as if he wasn't angry a while ago.
"Contact Quinn's restaurant and reserve two seats on the top floor" He instructed.
"Yes, Mr brigh" He answered and the call ended at that moment, he sighed and went to do it right away.
In the evening, a specific Bugatti, the only limited edition in all of country M, rolled out from the gates of the manor onto the streets, it sped up like a fire engulfing a paper.
The first place on his mind was the flower shop. He pulled over at the entrance and went in to get a bouquet of roses. Paying with his debit card, he was checked out by the security man.
He opened the car door and tossed the flower to the side, and once again he raced away from there, to Peony's house. He was instructed to bring her to the restaurant himself.
In the meantime, a young woman with blonde hair was in the arms of a man with porcupine hair.
He caressed her as if she were his only companion and would never be with anyone else. He held her hand, "Peony, when are you going to break up with him?" He inquired, his jealousy mode was fully activated.
Peony smiled as she looked at him, the one and only man in her heart, "Soon William, I'd never break the promise I made to you" She leaned in to kiss his lips.
"I hope so," William said, with a tone full of uncertainty, he doesn't know what she was doing this for, as she always said that it was for their benefit.
"He doesn't even love you, he is only showing that little affection because of his grandma and public image, why be with that man when I am here, loving you unconditionally? is it because he's way more handsome?"
"I know Leif doesn't have the slightest affection for me, even other women. However, he is a multi-billionaire. All I need is to get close to him and have access to the cards as the young madame of the Brigh family, and then I'll file a divorce against him since he doesn't love me and I cannot be with a husband who doesn't love his wife. All the wealth I'll acquire would be for us, trust me, William. I'm doing this for our good" She said.
She rubbed her cheeks against his bare chest and lightly tapped her fingers on his chest, rhythmically.
He caressed her hair, "I trust you Peony, however, you are not allowed to fall for him, you can only fall for me" He said.
The woman chuckled, "I won't" She said.
Although the man was extremely gorgeous and insanely rich, he doesn't have affection towards anyone. His heart was dead and there was no hope for him. There was no way she could deal with unrequited love, instead, she wanted his money, which was sure for her to lay her hands on!
She continued tapping on his chest, where the man was starting to feel his manhood rise under the bed sheet. He inquired, "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" He asked.
"Yeah," She responded with a smile.
A gasp escaped from her lips when he suddenly parted her legs with his hands, he came on top of her and settled between her legs. Peony heaved a sigh, she too was feeling wet and was ready for him.
"I'll be going in" He informed, she nodded, bracing herself for what was to come next.
Just as he pushed himself inside of her, the door went open and someone emerged from it. A bouquet in his hand and an expressionless face gazed at the sight before him.
