But it was too hard with the way this rude police officer was treating her, don't he have respect for ladies? Clearly, he doesn't know who her father is that's why he's talking to her in that manner.

Tara knew that Tervin won't just sit aside and do nothing, her father is going to be involved in this and as much as it wasn't a good idea involving her father. It has to be done if she doesn't want to be framed for murder.
