Just like Giovanni has promised, they were in a plane heading back to New York which if she's right from the time difference, it's going to be really late in the night once they arrive back, which made Marissa blame herself for making a fuse to go back home tonight, but it needed to be done.

She needs to see her mom!

So, as she sat in Giovanni's private jet, with him facing her on the other seat, he was busy with something on his phone to notice that her back was already cramping against the seat, and her legs felt heavy. She just feels tired but she can't sleep.

Even with her phone with her, Marissa was bored of the games. Neither was she interested in keeping herself busy with the movies there too. She was worried, but at the same time she realized that her mother wouldn't be happy to see her, not after what had transpired between them on her last visit.
