Chapter 80: Chapter 80. Bird of a feather, flock together
"GURARARARA" Whitebeard laughed as he raised his Naginata, Ace pulled back his sword as he used all his strength to meet Whitebeard's naginata, creating a shockwave that caused multiple tornados that blasted towards the horizon.
Both skidded back and went on the attack again.
Ace felt his blood boil, he had the widest grin on his face as he infused his Conqueror's Haki into his sword, which released black and red lightning.
Whitebeard's naginata descended towards ACE once again but this time with a reddish purple lightning. He infused his Haki with his devil fruit ability!
As blades collided without touching, because of the repulsing forces of their willpower, another explosions took place which blasted them apart.
Ace felt it, although they weren't going all out, he still felt it... Whitebeard was old and weakened but he was a different kind of beast compared to Kaidou.
Ace felt that if Whitebeard went all out, it would last more than 1, maybe 2-3 hours, but during that short time, he would definitely be stronger than Kaidou.
In his younger days he could've fought like that for days, but because of his old age, he can only go all out for a short time before he'll fall because of his failing body.
Their ships had taken distance from the island, but even when they were far away, the shockwaves were rocking the ships to the pint that they were afraid that they'd sink.
Whitebeard stood with a grin, but on the inside he was shaken. Not even Roger was this strong at Ace's age... No, rather, even at their peaks... He could feel that Ace's Haki and strength was more potent then he seemed to be showing so far.
Whitebeard couldn't be sure as Ace hadn't gone all out, but for some reason, his Haki told him that Ace was still far, far from uing all his abilities.
Whitebeard even glanced at his arm, that held firmly onto his Naginata... Ace's body was as durable and strong as Kaidou's...
Whitebeard felt like he needed to find out if his gut feeling was right...
Suddenly he raised his Naginata again, but this time, he wasn't playing around. His whole blade and staff turned black as the sky darkened. Not only that, colour seemed to disappear from the world as the Whitebeard Pirates and Demon Ace Pirates started panicking as all they could see was black and white.
Whitebeard pirates and even the weaker Demon Ace pirates such as Nami, Bepo and Nobujuro, almost lost consciousness.
Jojo who seemed fine, except for the sweat on his forehead, he was the most surprised. They were many kilometers from the small island, even further than what Wano had been from Onigashima... Yet the Haki was this strong from That far away.
Ace felt pure bliss on the inside, he had forgotten that they were on a small island and felt he had to respond to Whitebeard Haki in kind.
Suddenly a gigantic force was released from Ace as his willpower seemed to swallow the world. Whitbeards Haki made the world's lose colour, but Ace's Haki made it seem blurry, all detail of the world seemed to disappear.
More Whitebeard pirates passed out and the weakest of Demon Ace Pirates finally lost consciousness.
Ace's blade and the blade of Whitebeard met, and time seemed to stop for two seconds as the point of meeting between the blades started releasing a bright light that made even the Demon Ace pirates close their eyes.
It was as if a sun had been created between the the blades, before a gigantic explosion took place.
When the light receded, the whole island was completely destroyed. Most of it had been swallowed by the sea.
Ace stood while panting slightly, 80 meters from where the clash had taken place.
Ace held his sword, but the sword was slightly shaking.
Whitebeard was in a crater, about 150 meter from where the clash had taken place.
"GURARARARARA!" Whitebeard gave a heartfelt laughter that seemed to create even more waves.
He had wanted to see the upper limit of Ace's abilities, so without thinking, he went a bit overboard, and yet he still isn't sure if that was all Ace had. But he was sure of one thing, the brat had surpassed both Roger and himself.
Ace's smile was the brightest it had ever been, but it faltered slightly as her saw two big fingers floating in the water...
Whitebeard stood up and his Naginata was gone... His whole right arm was shaking slightly and he had two missing fingers.
"YoU FULFILLED YOUR DREAM, FLAME EMPEROR!" Whitebeard said, but his words were loud and shock the fabaric of space. Although their clash was a bit overboard, Whitebeard seemed fine, except for the shaking arm and two missing fingers.
Whitebeard just admitted that Ace had become the strongest man...
Ace was surprised, this was the first time so far that Whitebeard had addressed him as other than "brat" and not only that, Whitebeard admitted that Ace had surpassed him.
On the Black Pearl, Jojo sits down as he felt his knees quite weak, he was aghast at what he had witnessesed. Although the battle hadn't lasted long, it was even more intense than what had happened Onigashima, which he thought was impossible.
Suddenly, Law noticed a bright glint in the sky, so he turned his sight up, and something was speeding towards him in an extreme speed.
Law barely side stepped as a gigantic Naginata stabbed right into where he stood just second ago.
Law looked at the Naginata in confusion for second before he recognised it and took another step back in surprise, then he turned his sight to what was left of the island, far in the distance in surprise.
Ace and Whitebeard sat down while laughing. Whitebeard hadn't had this fun in a long time, and had even been in a bad mood recently because of something major that had happened his crew.
"Where will you go now?" Whitebeard asked.
Ace couldn't help but be impressed, Whitebeard's voice carried hints of quake as he felt his eardrums hurt slightly as he was speaking.
"Wherever the winds takes me. I did promise a Nakama to find her father, so I might do that next. And you?" Ace said.
"... One of my sons have betrayed us, Marco was taken to impel down because of it." Whitebeard said, he didn't need to explain more.
Everyone that sails the sea kniws, that if you mess with one Whitebeard pirate, you mess with all of them.
Ace understood that Whitebeard was going to war.
"Need any help?" Ace asked, but he knew what the answer would be. Whitebeard wouldnt have that kind of willpower if he would accept such a thing as help.
"If you join the battle between the Marines and Whitebeard pirates, it will be a three way battle." Whitebeard said. His meaning was clear, He would take on both The Marines and the Demon Ace Pirates.
Ace grinned. He knew Whitebeard would say that, since he too, felt like that.
"Then mess them up good, and save your son. Let's meet again." Ace said a she stood up as their ships were nearing them.

You guys said that you wouldn't give me more stones until I released more chapters... But you still bombed me with stones. Usually I don't negotiate with terrori... People like you, but you guys went ahead and still gave me the stones so I felt bad and edited these chapters for you. 😨
sadly I have work tomorrow and then I'll stay at my grnadmothers. I won't be able to edit anything. So I'll release again in two or three days. I will try to finish the last chapters as well, I have up to chapter 95 in stock I think, unedited.
