Chapter 74: Blind Girl

"Jaime...!! Jaime...!!!!" A shout had forced me to look down from a height of 10 meters where I had been hanging to complete the union of two metal plates of the Atlantis wall from the outside. This job had been outsourced by people in Atlantis to those of us who were unemployed in the Grey area. My eyes had found Adam below, who was waving his hands at me and jumping up and down. 

"What's up?" I had yelled back at him. 

"Snake has brought another new person," Adam had replied. I had immediately gotten a bad feeling and pressed a button that extended a rope to lower my body, unhooking the rope as soon as my feet had touched the ground. The day before, I had told Adam to look for me if the hyena group brought in another new person; I wasn't going to let it happen this time.
