The 9th Anniversary of Li Mei cordially invites the Hu Family.
It seemed like a joke. How could they be invited to a Li family member's birthday the day after today?
Using her chopsticks, she fed herself some fried chicken, then turned her attention back to the letter.
Mrs. Lang continued speaking.
"The party will be an ancient fantasy mask ball. A car will arrive in two days at exactly seven pm to pick up everyone. Every unmarried lady should be prepared, as she might become part of the Li family.
Thank you for your attentive consideration."
Everyone was shocked, but a smile quickly appeared on Mrs. Hu's face, showing her surprise and joy.
The message had been sent to all the affluent families in China. Most well-behaved, elegant, and polite girls screamed upon receiving it.
Cute girl: "Oh my gosh, the CEO of the company that made all the electronic devices in my house is inviting me to a party. Can you imagine how incredibly wealthy he must be? The invitation says he will send a car to fetch my family and me."
Beauty Lily: "Girl, you're not alone. The invitation was sent to all the wealthy families in China. Finally, I will get to meet him."
Lol babe: "You guys are forgetting that one of us could become his wife. Let's quickly search for information about him."
These were the discussions taking place on most forums once the letters were received.
Li not only invested in electronics but also had partnerships with many businesses in China. His profile was featured in China's magazines every week as one of the richest men in the country.
"The whole family? Sabrina is invited too. This is an opportunity we can't waste. With your second daughter, everything will be perfect. I'll contact Sabrina right away."
The event was in two days, and she knew her mom. She would get angry and exaggerate everything.
She even forgot about their little argument.
Both her father and she laughed as they watched her mother run upstairs.
Her mother was the total opposite of her daughter: blonde-haired and narrow-eyed.
"Your mom has always been like this."
If Nathalia could trust only one person in the world, it would certainly be her dad.
Nathalia resembled him a lot. He too had black hair and blue eyes, just like his daughter.
"Dad, I don't want to go to such a party. Maybe he invited our family just to humiliate me, like he did today."
Mr. Hu, who had been holding a novel on his lap from the start, handed it to his daughter.
He cherished his daughter so much.
Mr. Hu asserted, "You possess complete control over your own existence."
"I appreciate the guidance and the new insight. I will promptly act upon it," she replied.
She kissed her father on the cheek and retreated to her chamber.

Li perused the contents of the letter and struggled to accept what he was witnessing. When did his innocent little girl undergo such a transformation?

"Do not forget that I am a future businesswoman, learning from the best," she replied.
Though her father felt a twinge of anger, her infectious smile caused him to yield.
"Tomorrow, I will arrange for the best designers in China and other significant staff. Do not let my investment go to waste; choose me a suitable wife," he affectionately patted her head before retiring to his room.

"Silence, you irritating alarm."
It was a new day in Jiang city.
As usual, Nathalia woke up and completed her morning routine before selecting an outfit from her wardrobe.
She searched around for her fortunate phone but could not locate it. She realized it needed to be repaired.
She questioned all the household staff, but none of them knew where she had placed it.
She powered on her laptop and dialed Min's number.
"Good morning, Min. Have you seen my phone? It was in my bag."
She continued to eat her breakfast while conversing with him.
"You left me in the dark the entire evening, but I will still help you locate it. Meet me at the office."
That phone held great value, as it was a birthday gift. How could she misplace it?
She completed her meal and prepared to head to work.
"Dad, Mom, see you later," she affectionately kissed them both.
"Don't forget, we are going to welcome your sister at the airport."
"Yes, Dad."
She still resided in her parents' house out of immense love for them.
"Boss Li, here is the schedule of meetings you need to attend today," Secretary Liang ensured his boss's agenda was well-organized and handed him the document once satisfied.
He briefly glanced at the document before making his final decision.
"Cancel all my appointments for the day and arrange for the best birthday designers. They should be sent to my residence."
