Chapter 8: Not a chap, sorry!
Sorry guys, Stepmom's in the hospital right now so no chap this week. But I think I ought to update you on some stuff and share an idea or two with you.
My manager quit, so what that means for my work schedule is kinda up in the air right now. Could be good, which means more time to write! Or bad, which means less time to write. I'd write at home or on Weekends but those are pretty busy too, plus it's the only time I get to spend with friends. I spend about.. 12 hours of my weekdays being at work/going to work and going home from work. Then I spend about a half hour to an hour doing the chores I do. Then I sleep for about 8 hours, walk my dogs and repeat. If I'm lucky I can get around two hours of writing done a night. Issue is, I have to condense these ideas and discard some. Plus there's motivational issues. You guys commenting and reading helps for sure, but I do lose some from time to time.
Fanfics are my first sort of stepping stone of what I want to do. I do want to make something I can call my own. And just recently, I've seen a friend and fellow author take that step and I'm damn proud of her! Check it out here or on Scribblehub. It's called Psionic Super Soldier summoned to another reality!
So far it has a helluva lot of promise and I'm eagerly awaiting another chap. Which leads me back to this. An idea I have regarding an MC who is reborn as a dragon egg who will evolve and grow into a dragon. Don't worry, they'll end up a dragon girl and it'll (of course) be a Yuri story eventually, when she gains a human body. I've been tossing ideas in the GLRS discord I share with my author friends and have a foundation set up. I dunno, what do you guys think? I'll still update this but creating a world and setting from scratch is a big leap, but I can play by my own rules so nobody can bitch at me for fucking up the setting or doing something that slightly nudges canon.
