The woman behind the iron bars was extremely worn-out and thin.

Her once-fair skin had lost its radiance.

The face that had once been beautiful was now marred from various forms of torture.

Her platinum hair, which had once shone like moonlight on a lake's surface, was now blackened from the dirt that clung to it.

Also, her eyes, once as beautiful as rubies, were always closed.

Footsteps echoed in the woman's cell.

The woman, now resembling the living dead, paid no attention to whoever was coming to see her.

Her life had been shattered, and she no longer had any spirit or purpose.

The man about to reach her cell stopped right in front of her.

She heard the sound of the cell door opening, and even though she could not see her surroundings, she sensed someone kneeling in front of her due to the closeness of their breath.

The woman slowly raised her head and remained silent.
