“Tan… take me back in. When this card resolves, just enter the doorway. The effect only lasts 5 seconds,” Edward spoke with a serious face. Once Tan finished reading the card, he nodded.

“Okay, man… That’s a way to make a noob look strong temporarily,” Tan said and looked at the card’s owner. Before inviting him back to the party.

Edward furrowed his brows and complained quietly. “Did he just call me a weakling?” He sighed lightly before making a solemn face… Before activating the card in his hand.

“Equip!”

Right after Edward’s voice… everybody looked at him… and nothing happened.

“Hmm?” Edward frowned and looked at the card in his hand.

“There’s no need for ‘hmm’, man. It’s an Item Card, not an Equip,” Tan said wearily. Edward was surprised.

“Oh… That’s true.” The young man nodded. “Let’s go again.” This time, Edward was well-prepared… He activated the card.

“Item!”
