Chapter 2: Lord Fourth, Itachi?
As Kai woke up, he looked around to understand that he was currently in Kushina's hidden location for pregnancy.
"AGHHHH," Kushina screamed like there was no tomorrow. Several medical personnel were beside her bed, making sure that everything was stable.
"Lord Fourth?" One of the guards asked him.
Kai was confused. Coincidentally, there was a mirror beside him. He saw that his face was the face of Minato after all. Yet, there was a weird sensation that the ability he had was not Minato's.
Kai told the guard that he was fine and started moving towards the mirror.
Kai's heart began to accelerate. Could it be??
'Sharingan!'
... Minato's eye began to transform into the kekkai genkai specialty of the Uchiha Clan. The Sharingan.
'Holy Shit..'
Kai was really shocked. This didn't make sense as only the Uchiha blood could use the Sharingan, but right now, he's using it with Minato's body. If he was to assume that he was in the 'What If Simulation', he should try to make a decent ending to this scenario.
"Ah Fuck it, let's try it."
Kai read quite a bit in his free time, and he was somewhat excited to try it out. It was weird that this glitch occurred where his ability did not match his character; but it was interesting.
He knew this scenario. He understood what's coming next. It was Obito.
"Ugh...!" emotions started appearing within him. He felt it, he felt that Itachi's emotion were in sync with him and he wants to stop this nine-tail invasion. This Itachi conscious also knew that stopping this invasion along with Minato staying alive can be crucial to avoid the Uchiha massacre. The conscious was constantly telling Kai to move and solve it.
Kai could feel the roaring emotion, he felt Itachi's reminsence of killing his entire clan singlehandedly. Kai felt the pain and the regret that drove Itachi sick slowly. He could feel Itachi's conscious hope for a fresh start, and Kai reciprocated and nods in understanding.
"Uwaaaaaaa" "Uwaaaaaa", just as Kai had made his resolution to make a better ending, Kushina was already panting hard and managed to push the baby out of her. The Third Hokage's wife showed it to Kushina and Minato. Kushina was smiling while looking awfully tired before slowly realising, "Minato?". Right next to Kushina, Minato(Kai) was already using his Sharingan to scan through the location quickly, before locking into each individual Anbus. He could see each chakra flow, and while most of them are normal... there was one anbu there standing idly, looking right back at Minato.
Minato saw this chakra flow being not normal, that there was a discrepancy inside the body of this Anbu. Two different type of Chakra. It must be him. It must be his merge with the Zenbu causing two different chakras.
"Minato!? You have the sharingan?" Kushina suddenly asked.
Kai reactively looked at Kushina as she held Naruto, but Kai immediately looked back at the masked man knowing that he was very dangerous. He was no longer there. The Masked man had disappeared and Kai immediately screamed "Prepare for Battle! Protect Naruto and Kushina at all Cost!"
The Anbus immediately reacted to Kai's scream and performed a perimeter around Kushina and Naruto. Yet Kai knew, that the number 1 danger isn't from the surrounding, but instead near the floor. Kai reactively moved just quickly enough to grab Kushina and Naruto whereas from within the floor a hand slowly emerged.
Not long afterwards, the masked man figured appeared on top of the bed that Kushina and Naruto was just in.
"Alert the Third Hokage." Kai said to one of the Anbu.
"Yes Lord Fourth." As one of the Anbu immediately Rushed towards the Entrance to escape and report.
The other Anbus took out their blades and attempted to slash at Obito, yet their blades went through his body.
"How is this possible?" One of the Anbus asked.
The masked man looked at Kai, and said, "The Fourth Hokage, how do you know my ability..?"
"How do you have those eyes...?"
Everyone was wondering the same thing, and so did Kushina. Yet, Kai chose not to answer
"You're not Minato are you?" Kushina asked while heavily panting.
Kai whispered, "No, I'm not, but I don't intend you any harm.. trust me."
Kushina looked at Kai(Minato), and somewhat nodded after considering that Kai did save her.
He then handed Kushina and Naturo towards The Third's wife.
"Please protect her and stay close to me."
Kai then looked back at the masked man, "I think it's about time you head back, don't you think?"
However, the masked man did not say anything and immediately rushed once again to try and grab Kushina and Naruto.
Kai in response performed what looked to be the shadow clone jutsu to block the incoming attack. Kai himself and the clone managed to continuously block Obito's attack, despite Obito's attempt to being non-matter and get through Kai's defense.
Obito looked back at Kai. "You...!!! How dare you ruin my plan..!"
Obito's attack became quicker and quicker, and Kai had to eventually activate his Sharingan in order to see his movement.
What Kai felt was that from the first time he used the sharingan, it took a lot of chakra. Perhaps because Minato's body was not suited for the Uchiha's Kekkai Genkai. So even if he could activate Itachi's skill like Kakashi, he could not overcome the physical limitations of Minato's Chakra.
Thankfully, Minato had a large chakra reserve in the first place, so it should not be a big problem, Kai was mostly being careful in case of other circumstances.
"Those eyes," Obito said.
"Very well, witness the true power of the Sharingan," Obito eventually said.
For the First time, Obito finally looked straight at Kai, and revealed an eye that we all know too well of, The Mangekyo Sharingan.

MarSus I need your advice! In the Simulation as Kai changed to a character. Would you rather me stick to the name Kai, or just use the character's name?
